Ok I have the BEST RAVE I may have ever had for food in LB...facebookland told me that taqueria 152 was good, fB said "try the tacos omg" so I tool the smaller humans to try it out because my pregnant self needed tacos and NOW! Honestly from the front it would NOT be space I would ever stop to eat in. But we went in and it's kind of like the tardis (bigger on the inside) we go inside and the staff was very friendly, great bilingual service and you can get food as dine in or take out! They had a great idea of letting the customers sharpie on the walls! It's awesome!
The food...oh my heavenly lord! It's CHEAP first of all, made to order FRESH and the tortillas are homemade as well as fresh salsas. I bought 1 of every kind of taco, a standard burrito and a quesadilla (they put Oaxaca cheese AND fresh avocado) delish! They brought fresh made chips and salsa for us to snack on while they made our food to go. Super friendly, super fast and the best fresco I've had. Totally worth your time and money
Love this place! Cevice was excellent, as was the chile verde and taco pastor. Always try to hit this place when I'm in LB
A excellent family restaurant good customer service a nd the food is from scratch nothing pre-made we asked for guacamole and they made it fresh chile was fresh just made you can taste the garlic I ordered tacos the tortillas where made to order wife ordered auja chile freshly made.
I was blown away by this place!
Don't be intimidated by the exterior - the back is clean, bright, and huge. We went at 5:30 and were the only customers the whole time.
The plating was amazing and so pretty. My waitress was kind and attentive and everyone was wearing masks.
Great price for great food! Two of us ate for under $20, with leftovers.
LOVED this spot! The food was seriously delicious and authentic. The family that runs it really knows what's up and were so nice! I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take a picture before diving in. You see the sopes being handmade in the kitchen but you can tell they are the real deal on the first bite. We got pollo (chicken) and carne asada (steak) sopes, and i have the say the pollo is not to be missed. We also got some bean dip, a quesabirria, a fish taco (all so good!) and washed it down with a michelada which was legit, garnished with shrimp and tajin! Definitely stop in (walk through the main building - don't be phased by that) and give them a try - you won't regret it!
Stopped by on my way to Napa. This place is authentic, fresh, and tasty. The tacos are A+ and their brria is just another level. Highly recommend.
We ate carne asada tacos and they were delicious. We also had fish ceviche and shrimp ceviche, both so good!
Very attentive and helpful. Salsa and chips were fire. We liked the rice beans were a little runny and I didn't care for the chicken Enchiladas. I had both green and red. Not a fan of the sauce. Very clean
It’s kinda hard to figure out where this place is, and the parking is tight but this is a gem. We can’t stop talking about. Super friendly staff with delicious, TRUELY authentic homemade food. The Next time I know I’ll be in Los banos I’ll be looking forward to coming back.
