Review Yongsusan - Los Angeles

We drove here all the way from LA just to try this food. Will definitely come back and bring friends with me so they can experience this great food. Food is delicious and staffs are friendly.

The hype is real. This Cuban Restaurant is the real deal. It screams authenticity as you walk through the entrance. I ordered the oxtail stew which I saw in a yelp picture. Amazing. The oxtail fell off the bone. The plantains were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they were a little skimpy with the plantains but the food was worth it. Was told this was a Miami staple. Worth the hype. Thanks Lianni for all your help.

One of the authentic Korean cuisines still pursuing the traditional taste in a more relaxed, private ambiance. Hard to find anything compatible in LA K-town. I live in Irvine and it's a rare treat for me to drive up to LA; but whenever I'm there, Yongsusan is my go-to place for a good savory Korean meal!

If you are interested in having quiet nice meal with your family or friends this is definitely the place to go. I didn’t mind paying a little extra for the service and atmosphere. The server was very nice and attentive. Food tasted excellent. What more do you look for in a restaurant.

Royal Korean Cuisine offered a la carte and tasting menus. In addition to the communal dinning room, there are over half a dozen rooms where you can host a small group of guests of up to 10-12 and there's also a large banquet hall. I went with a group of 8 and we all got a set menu, which was mostly presented family style except for soup and a few other dishes. We dined in one of the private rooms. Overall the cuisine was on the slightly sweet side including the beef dishes, but I was grateful they didn't use MSG. Valet parking in the adjacent lot was only $2 (visited March 2017).

Attended a traditional 1st birthday party in Korean style. Food was decent and service was fast.

We just tried to have dinner here, and there was raw chicken in the mushroom gnocchi with chicken. We told the server, so that they wouldn't serve it to anyone else, and they were very rude and asked us not to upset the other customers. If you value your health do not eat here

Food was good and service was very friendly. There's ample parking with valet service and only $2 for the valet service. The food is traditional Korean food not very spicy not salty but flavorful enough. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again.
