What a delight!
We brought our friends here for their daughter's birthday, and she had an absolute BLAST making her own birthday cake.
The staff are incredible here, and wonderfully patient and nice.
I couldn't possibly recommend this place enough. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth the price. They have all the tools and bips and bops for kids follow along a step-by-step guide to making a cake, or letting loose to create a cake of their very own.
In a word, fabulous.

We come to CakeMix in West Hollywood every year for my daughters birthday, since we missed last year we were super excited to come back this year. We are fully vaccinated but once there they still required masks which we didn’t have because LA lifted the requirement for indoor use. We found some in our car. We sat down and saw that at a different table the people were not wearing masks once at the table. We asked if it was required at the at table they said “if you don’t wear it we are not liable.” I said ok, so once at our table we took them off. We were asked by a different employee about 3x to put them on, no one else was at our table and the tables were all far apart. I completely understand that each business can establish their own rules and they made it required but there were people there before us at the table that were not wearing masks and I didn’t see anyone say anything to them. They also removed all the tools to use for the cakes and put them behind the counter. We could ask for anything we needed but my daughter picked the wrong color fondant and hadn’t even touched the package yet when she asked for a different color - they wouldn’t trade it , and charged us for an additional color. We asked if we could drink something at our table- they allowed that but we had to use straws and forget about eating any snacks. Our experience there was so disappointing, all of this for over $100 for two cakes. We won’t ever come back.

Nice little neighborhood bakery. I didn't want to stand in line at Porto's even if I needed a cake for my parents birthday. I just happened to search on Yelp, and this place was pretty close. I got some cookies, chocolate and a cake. All tasted yummy. I think I may have liked the cookies more than the cake however. The cookies were not overly sweet and were thin and crispy.

This place is amazing. If you can walk in, look around and walk out without buying anything, you should definitely have you nose looked at by a doctor because that thing isn't working!
The prices are fair and the quality is excellent. My favorites are the moon-shaped marzipan and the chocolate dipped orange peels. Very simple, always perfect!
The employees are always nice and have always known very well what they are selling. deserves many more customers than they have; maybe it's a hidden gem that I shouldn't review.

This awesome business is located right on the corner, surrounded by street parking. Very family friendly, it's an open space populated with tall chairs and tables. You pick between a cake or six cupcakes, and then five toppings and an additional two accoutrements. Staff are very fun and helpful. There are a ton of letter page sized laminated examples you can use, that provide step by step instructions. You can add more toppings, simply costs a bit more. A great place that's fun for everyone!

It's a unique and fun experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids that I brought. Fun place for a unique date. The cupcakes were good, I decorated and ate them until I got full. Will return when I’m in LA, employees are very friendly!. It was lot of fun and after eating a cake am so happy. The cake is really yummy and delicious. I bought the cake every time in this shop. This is best cake shop in los angles.

Great concept. The cakes are tasty and moist. I've had both the chocolate and the confetti and the confetti is my favorite. Good place to host a party for young girls. You can have the option of decorating a cake or 3 cupcakes. The cupcakes don't offer as many decorating options as the cakes. Would definitely come back.
