Delicious. Fresh. Great service. Reasonable price. Got the set meal for $35 (which the waitress did note the cuts are better than if you got the combos). Also ordered their homemade tofu which was super soft and yummy, the Spanish mackerel which not only served picture-worthy but also very delicious (pricey but worth it). Also ordered a sashimi over rice which I felt compared to the other cuts, were not as great. They also serve green tea and mochi at the end. Really awesome experience and delicious sushi. Totally satisfied my craving. Definitely recommend this sushi spot if you don't want to pay too much for fresh fish.
First time customers, and we will definitely come back! My mom can only eat gluten free food, and the waitresses & owner or manager made sure that the things she ate were gluten-free. They were so sweet and accommodating.
The sashimi combo plate was fresh, the grilled salmon was delicious! The seaweed salad was more like interesting seaweeds/iceberg combo salad. The meat was tender.
The dessert we chose was the pudding, like flan! Super yummy, made in-house.
Prices are reasonable.
Free parking next door under the Landmark theaters.
One suggestion: The shellac on the tables is a little bit sticky feeling.

The restaurant here before actually is gone. Wadarsumi opened up in June 2017. They have a smaller menu, but boy is it good. Fresh fish and great service!

Really good Japanese beef. Had an excellent salad with thin slide beef and stake. Very quiet and comfortable. Good for a nice date.
I loved this japanese restaurant in Torrance so tried the one in West LA. Good as one in Torrance. Fresh fish at affordable price.
They have a new owner now but they keep the same name. I heard the new owner owns a fish company. I was not impressed by the previous Wadatsumi under the old management but a new management is great. The fish is very fresh and the price is amazingly reasonable. I like that they keep the same price for lunch set and dinner set. Very friendly and nice survice. Especially the female manager is super kind and attentive. I think it is very rare to have a female manager at the Japanese sushi restaurant. Love to support her. The food, price and service, everything is great. Try this new Wadatsumi. You will be pleasantly surprised.
