Review Firehouse Restaurant - Los Angeles

Mouthwatering. You get a good idea of how delicious the food is about to be once the aroma from the kitchen hits you. The staff was very polite and our food was prepared fairly quickly. The salads are amazing and the chicken gyro plate stole my heart. The portion sizes are perfect to share or take some home to enjoy later. It's a thumbs up from me !

Got the Mixed Souvlaki Plate (Beef, chicken & lamb) which comes with fries & greek salad, also got the and Babaganoush & a yogurt drink. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. I can eat a lot and I wasn't able to finish it. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and cooked. The meats were yummy and the salad was great, nice and tangy. Babaganoush was yummy and I love to wash it all down with a yogurt drink. It's such a cute place, nice little flowers outside along the windows. Waitress was nice. A bunch of tables inside and some outside. You can park on the street or a few spots in the back.

Update 10/30/21: Still hits. Incredible gyro. O.M.G. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 The gyro alone is enough for for 2 people. The sandwich is huge!! Ordered it with a side of fries. Its a lot of food. Couldn't eat any of the fries. The meat was sliced to order, tomatoes sliced to order. High quality ingredients make it worth any drive. Also ordered a gyro plate for my 2 kids. There's no way they'll finish it. The portions are very generous. Eat here! Get the gyro. You'll be glad you did. 😋😜✨😌🤪

The gyro sandwich was excellent! The fries and salad were delicious. They even gave us free dessert. Just watched her check because she accidentally charged me an extra seven dollars and had to redo the total. But overall I am reading here since I was a kid in school close by 45 years and the place is still going strong

My friend from 1st grade till now lived right around the corner from the firehouse. Back in 1986/87 he lived there till 2003 and we frequented this place on a daily basis especially in the summer. The owners the nice Greek family knew us and loved us. Always gave us free items. The burgers were our favorite till I tried the gyros and then both were. It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I loved it. I really need to visit and eat here again

Disappointing. This is the third and last time I buy food in this place. This used to be a decent place with good food for a long time. A few years ago it seemed to me the ownership might have changed and it hasn't been the same anymore. This last time I ordered food and picked it up, decided to look at it before leaving and discovered that all I mean every single piece of meat was burnt. Like black. I turned it around, and the same on the other side!!! Unbelievable. There is no supervision or quality control in this restaurant. Not to mention, no hello, no welcome, no what can I get you, no thanks for coming, nothing If you still want to eat here, go ahead. I know I'm done trying.

Excellent Chicago style Gyros—incredibly generous and impossible to finish. Sandwich comes with rice or fries. The rice was fabulous. A casual setting with light greek music from the speakers. Highly recommended. Parking in the rear. 🏆

Love the fresh Greek salad with a side of tasty Dolmas. Great food as always.

If you are in the mood for Greek food, you have come to the right place.
These guys serve amazing greek food and they serve alot of it.

On my initial visit I thought to myself that these prices seem kind of high but they
end up serving you very large portions and alot of additional sides. I recommend any of their Gyro or meat plates. They all taste amazing with that special tazaki or something white sauce they give you with it. I didn't like their lemon chicken so I wouldn't recommend that.

Parking can be kind of hard but you will have to pull into the small alley next to the old

blue Firehouse building you will see on Victory and park in the back.
Service has always been good to me.

This is Firehouse Restaurant. And Firehouse serves up Greek cuisine.

The greatest Greek cuisine in town? Not hardly.

Acceptable, nice, decent Greek Cuisine? Hmm…we’re working on it.

This is a place in Reseda, not exactly known as a foodie hotbed, but a place that locals come in for a spot of lunch or for some take out. In that respect, Firehouse Restaurant does it’s job admirably.

Is it a place you want to drive out of your way to get to? Ehhh, probably not.

The food was delicious and authentic. The Moussaka was one of the best I have had. The hummus was delicious and the mixed salad is phenomenal. Good service as well. I recommend highly.

Good Food. Not much service or atmosphere. It's just not one of those kinds of restaurants, which is fine if you know that when you go in. I really enjoyed the food though!

Barely palatable food and terrible service. We went to Firehouse because of the reviews on another website, and were sadly disappointed. The service was terrible, the food was only okay,
and the cook would not run my credit card, so I could leave for a meeting because he kept using the telephone. My "greek" salad came drenched
with dressing, while my friends had too little. The lemon chicken was dry. The cook told me he didn't care if I was unhappy because I was "only one customer."

Firehouse is a cute Greek-Fashioned place in Reseda that quite possibly might have the best gyro in town. I can't give it the honor of "Best Gyro in the Valley" since there is an equally as good gyro within 5 miles at Pozis Grill. The difference is this; Firehouse is simply bigger. Their portions are big and you won't leave without having to unbutton your jeans to breathe. Thie rice is very good and the Humus is great!

Went there just 5 Mins ago... Service was excellent! Gyro was excellent... Salad was excellent... Pita was excellent... Rice was excellent... Hummus SUCKED! Today must have been a bad-- horrible batch! Me and my gf love this place very much and have come several times... But tonights hummus was awful. It was thicker & chunkier than usual and even a little more brown than it should have been. Other than that...we'll be back for more.

Pretty Good. Small humble Greek place. Its very charming from the outside the blue and white exterior is reminiscent of a quaint country house.

The food is filling and tasty. The chicken is a little too charred for my taste. But the traditional gyro is among the best I have had in San Fernando Valley. Something about the mixture of lamb and tzatziki is just insanely delicious.

Very reasonable prices the daily specials come with a beverage.

Get the rice...the fries are nothing special.

Authentic and Charming. I have eaten at the Firehouse for many years and have had catering from there as well. Friends and family always comment on how great the food is. The owner, Antonis, prepares it from scratch, so it has the authentic home-made taste. Firehouse has been given favorable reviews by Larry Lipson and AAA's WestWays magazine.

I would recommend this serene, simple, but very delicious Greek cuasine anyone new to this will love it. It's very affordable a great lunch! P.s. Grab the rice pilaf insted of the fries- peace and enjoy the earth!

for those of us who live/lived in the valley, firehouse is sort of a gem…just sayin’. so, i’ll keep this short and sweet. small restaurant that sits on victory blvd. nothing fancy. just great gyros! food : we go here when we need a gyro fix. tzatziki is delicious (i can drink this stuff)! also, portions are a good size and meat is always moist and full of flavor. note that we have only ordered the gyros here so cannot speak for the rest of the menu.

We were early to meet friends for a concert at the Valley Performing Arts Center on the CSU campus in Northridge. We were famished from not making time to enjoy a meal earlier in the day due to our business over the hill, so we made time to stop in at Firehouse Restaurant for a bite before heading to the arts center. It was somewhat of a trek, but once we made it there, we were able to relax. We had been previously tipped off about Firehouse Restaurant by friends, and knowing how I adore a great gyro, my husband encouraged me to give it a try since our friends’ recommendation was so enthusiastically high when they spoke about it. So off we went to the restaurant not knowing what we would expect to find. The building was a renovated firehouse from what an employee told us while we were there. It’s a small establishment. A two-story, brick facade street-side construction that’s fairly easy to miss as you turn right at the street light from Reseda onto Victory due to it being so close a
