I have been to the Vegan Joint a few times now and it is definitely growing on me! The prices are a little higher than I would have hoped however you always get great quality food that is prepared fresh! I have tried the grilled chicken dinner and the friend chicken dinner and both are delicious. They come with your choice of brown rice or baked potatoes and steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumber). Also you get sweet syrup to drizzle over the chicken. The vegan tacos are simple yet excellent although the guacamole that comes with it seems to be more like blended avocados.
The food was really tasty. They're menu has so many choices that it was difficult to make decisions.
I had chicken (not chicken) nuggets that were quite tasty and garlic fries that were awesome. My better half had spring rolls that were large and very good. Our son had a tuna(no fish) sandwich that he said was really good
Better than the food was the service. The lady (probably the owner) that served us was constantly attending our needs.
Highly recommended
This place is really "in the cut", which is why you might see a celeb here occasionally. No frills dining area. Their food is freshly prepared, with friendly service, and it's tasty. Their soups and noodle dishes are good.
Best chips ever! Arrived hot & crunchy, with tasty sauces!
Cute little place right of the 101 De Soto in the corner plaza. Ordered the Tuna Sandwich which was so tasty, soft and the brrad crunchy! Mustard flavor was prominent so if you don't like mustard, I wouldn't recommend it. Spring rolls were indeed fresh and the peanut sauce tastes great over th fresh veggies. Grilled potatos were cooked well and seasoned nice too, just added some salt. My friend enjoyed the garlic chicken burger. Fresh young coconut juice was yummy, refreshing and fun to scrape the inside. Staff was friendly. They have a restroom.
This place was AMAZING! The service was friendly. We ordered the steamed dumplings, crispy spring rolls, pad thai, thai iced tea and blue moon milk. The tea was good and taste just how you expect it would. The blue moon milk was surprisingly fantastic. We weren't really sure what to expect with the milk, but we were both into it the pad thai was really good. The dumplings were okay and the crispy spring rolls were fantastic. We will absolutely be coming back next time we are wanting to have dinner away.
UPDATE: went recently in 11/2019 and have to say the food was dull, dull, dull. Ordered the mint noodles and it was just a pile of mush noodles. I had to really dig to find any signs of veggies like the tomatoes or basil or peppers or celery.
One of my favorite vegan places, my only gripe is that I wish they were opened later. I get it the location isn't the best spot, but maybe move to a busier part of Woodland Hills?? I love the many different dishes they make and always like to try a different dish and they are mmm mm good!!!
PS their curry dishes are all ahhhmazing.
