Wow. We moved from NYC a few years ago and we’ve struggled to find a good take out Chinese food place that does not blow the bank - we’re so happy we finally found it.
We ordered from ERGD today for the first time and it was the most pleasant ordering experience. They take phone orders only - fast and easy. We got the Orange Chicken, BBQ Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, and Crispy Shrimp Rolls.
I picked up the food as we were outside of their delivery zone. The staff was kind and attentive. They are clearly a family run restaurant.
The food was packaged expertly. They carved out the lids as to keep the Rolls and Orange chicken crispy - so smart!
I know this is a small thing but I asked for spicy mustard and they gave me the real deal - not the packaged garbage some places give you. I will also parallel someone’s comment about how they give you the almond cookies - I really appreciate this touch.

In a world where the majority of Chinese food is not suitable for people who can't handle gluten, there's Eagle Green Dragon. I have MISSED Chinese food so dang much. The owner is so understanding and week versed in gluten allergies it's comforting and the food is delicious and on point. So far, I've had chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce and salt and pepper shrimp. What an absolute treat. Can't wait to eat here again.

Quite literally the best salt and pepper pork I've ever eaten in my life. Maybe the best prepared pork dish I've ever had. Get the salt and pepper pork if you don't mind eating your friend Babe. They make Babe taste delicious.
I had been living in Glendale for nigh on 4 years, and it was only until about 6 months before we moved away did I try this shop. I'm so glad I hadn't gone any sooner. I would be, if I had to guess, about 50 kilos heavier due solely to the delicious salt and pepper pork. But don't think they're a single dish trick pony! The fried banana is excellent, their rice is well cooked and made. Their springs rolls were great. Honestly, it's one of those places where you intend to try many different items, but you don't, because that one item, in this case the S&P Pork Chops are so divine, so inspired, so scrumptious that you forgo nearly everything else on the menu and just order it over and over again. I don't have a real depth of knowledge of their other items, becuase I didn't care to order them.
I appreciate that they send their goods in topless containers, allowing the heat and moisture to evaporate, it keeps the crispy items from absorbing the steam and getting soggy. Points for that ER Green Dragon.
I would love to give this five stars, but I've only had the take out experience, so I don't know how the service would be in restaurant. Once we're out of this long tunnel, I'm sure I'll return to sit and enjoy, hopefully with friends and loved ones, whom I can introduce to the world of fried pork chops, and watch the delight and glee fill their eyes with each incredible bite.
Finally, parking is easy, both lot and street. The lot is tight, so if you see a street spot open, take it. Order the pork.

Best orange chicken this side of the 2 fwy. Pro tip, get sauce on the side for togo/delivery orders. Sweet & sour soup is also delicious.

I had the chicken w/ black bean sauce lunch special (comes with soup & egg roll). Everything was excellent: the wonton soup was first-rate, flavorfull broth, excellent wontons & spinach: the egg roll was large and full of stuffing, and the main course was delicious. Service was efficient, atmosphere is light and pleasant - highly recommended.

They have very decent amount of veggie options on the menu. We were very pleased by the taste of food. Fried rice was just like how my mom made it. Very authentic Chinese style. The baby bok choy was so fresh and good. The mu shu was a surprised to us. We did not know what that was. So we just ordered vegetable one. It turned out to be wraps with brown sauce. Overall they all taste really authentic. The amount of food was certainly very filling and the price was reasonable. We will definitely come back to try out more dishes.

Very, very good. The house fried rice is delicious. I like the way they do their sweet and sour chicken too. The sweet and sour sauce is given in separate containers, which you can either pour on or use as dip. And one thing they have over that other Chinese food place on York Blvd - their sweet and sour has pineapple pieces. Sadly, that other place doesn't have it, and claims they never did, even though I distinctly remember pineapple pieces when they first opened. But they slowly phased them out. Who does sweet and sour without pineapple?!
Green Dragon still does pineapple in their sweet and sour, and that is why I will be returning.

As far as local Asian food goes. This place is a decent place to stop by and enjoy some good Chinese food. It's not going to blow your mind but it will give a good feel for the the culture and texture of a good cooked meal. The service(covid times) is great the people are extremely friendly and I can only say good things.
Price is good.
I'd recommend trying the beef lo mein and the spicy orange chicken as its a favorite when I have gatherings.
