I've been coming here for years ,but sadly moved out of Canoga Park years ago. So when ever I'm in town I try my best to come in. I came in today and ordered my favorite item in the menu which is the California chicken sandwich. This sandwich was so amazingly delicious i would ordered it with a side of fruit and a cup of their chilli and ordered a grilled jalapeño.
Today I had it and the sandwich tasted very plain it was sad. The sandwich had no alfalfa or tomato. The bread seem to be different too . I don't remember it being so fluffy. I still love the restaurant and the staff members. I do miss Priscilla she was so lovely. Elaine is there she's super awesome too. I need to come in one day for breakfast the food looks really good. I posted a picture of how the sandwich actually looked like before compared to now. You be the judge amd tell me what's wrong with it.

**UPDATE OCTOBER 2021** STILL GREAT!
This little gem is a diamond in the rough! It's ALWAYS been good, but I feel with the pandemic hitting in 2020 it made bad places close and great places even BETTER! That's Henri's! Pride of ownership shows here! They keep it basic in true diner status. Nothing fancy, just good food at a great price! Plenty of parking in the back, clean restaurant, very friendly waitress, Sports channel on the several TV's, just a great little place! I'll definitely be back! Oh and I ordered Liver and Onions to go for my mom, she LOVED it! There's a bar inside, not sure when or how that is, but it looks super chill! Plus if you play POGO, you reach 4 stops while eating! đź‘Ť

It was our first and last time here, looked up some breakfast places and Henri’s foods looked good on pictures and saw that they had a 4.5 stars so came in and gave it a shot, we had a party of, it was a Sunday, got sat right away, the hostess took our drinks orders, we got 3 coffees and it was not hot at all, the waiter came over after and realized that someone else had already beat her to drinks orders, asked if we was ready to order and we wasn’t, it took a while for her to come back, we ordered our food and that also took a while so we asked a busser if they can go check on our food for us and magically our food was ready and on the way, the waiter dropped the food off and didn’t come back to check to see if everything was okay by the time she did I was already done with the place and asked for the bill, the food was alright nothing special the service can be a lot better tho.

I was fairly excited because there was a lot of items that I enjoy on the menu. The staff were very friendly giving this restaurant 2 stars instead of one. I can't say much about the French dip sandwich I ordered. It said piled high, but I got barely piled if any pile at all. The sides were more filling then the actual sandwich.

The atmosphere was dull and stale. The waiters, waitress were standing around talking to each other, and drinking in front of the customers. Not OK! The food was mediocre too salty and no taste to it. I will not be going back, and you should not try it either. What a waste of time.

Good vibes! Everyone was very friendly and has a positive atmosphere! I had the turkey/egg white scramble, which was delicious! I highly recommend this place for a friendly diner experience

All American Diner. When you think of the classic little American diner with friendly staff, great food, and a sense of community, you think of Henri's. My family has been going there for three generations! I go every Monday morning to start my week off right.
