An average good coffee joint. Nothing spectacular or a must have but as a neighborhood hang it’s a nice space. No signature or specialty drinks, just no fuss coffee.
There’s two outdoor seating areas perfect to dip away from work or to work for a while. Indoors is still closed off to the public and ordering is only through the window.
I do like that they ask you only stay 90 mins. Three stars for the coffee and another for its space.
I have been to Cafecito Organico Atwater a few times and liked it, when I stopped by Cafecito Organico in Silver Lake, the experience was similar, I had a good, if not great, flat white, staff was friendly and genuine. There is even a backyard patio and they do regular weekend food pop-ups.
Both Cafecito Organico locations have the independent, almost obscure coffee shop vibe that I like. It might be a personal thing, drinking coffee there makes me feel like a local.
Outdoor space is beautiful, and the perfect place to get work done or meet up with a friend. Parking is free neighborhood street parking, and it is not impossible to find. They also have great drinks, friendly staff, and good wifi. Some seats do not have access to outlets, so keep that in mind.
One of my go-to places in silver lake, been there at least 4 times this month, patio is great for working. Fast Wi-Fi, chill atmosphere and great coffees. I really liked the matcha blueberry scone.
Seems to be focal point for neighbors in the morning. Backyard garden seating. Avocado toast was perfect. They have an app so you can order ahead, but this is a place to slow down and enjoy, not rush through.
Good vibes, excellent service, clean restroom and plenty of seating space (Currently limited due to COVID of course).
Got an Iced Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk and it was good. A bit watered down (not creamy at all) and the coffee was too dark for my taste, but not bad by any means. It just could have been better.
Prices are also a tad high.
Nonetheless will give it another chance!
Beautiful outdoors. A bit disappointed a place that prices itself on biodiversity did not have a recycling bin and only had a trash can where recyclable and non-recyclable items alike were mixed.
