Review Jumpin' Java Kitchen - Los Angeles

I’m so happy my friend told me about this spot, this is my second time coming here. Their menu is huge but so is the vegan menu as well, so that really makes my heart happy that they care about us plant eaters lol. I ordered the Vegan burger with a side of house potatoes. Let me first start off by saying the house potatoes have absolutely no competition. The amount of flavors and love they put into these magical, mouthwatering little bite of heaven is a blessing. You don’t even need ketchup!! And that’s saying something. The burger was one of the best veggie burgers I have had in a while. Nothing compared to a fast food veggie patty, this burger arrives on a ciabatta bun and has sautéed veggies on it. Completely yummy!!! I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Love this place for breakfast! Perfect day to eat outside under the shaded patio...I had the Iowa Farms Pork Chop😘. My Wife had the Florentine Omlette with home style potatoes and My daughter had the Salmon Benedict...all the food was off the chain!! Highly recommended

Delicious food, worth the wait. It may take a while to get a table and to get your food, but its well worth it and they do their best to accommodate despite how busy they get. Everything we ordered was amazing and flavorful. Good and satisfying portion sizes for very reasonable prices. Florentine omelet, house potatoes, vegan scramble, spicy beef sausage, blueberry pancakes and the orange blossom pancakes too, delicious, I would recommend it all. Airy patio and you get a nice breeze sitting inside too. Will be going back and recommending this place to friends. Thank you Jumpin Java.

So good! Huge portions, and amazing staff. Everyone was so kind to my mother and me. Definitely one of my faves now.

Amazing breakfast spot! Ordered the Java combo with Waffle. Everything tasted great, their house potatoes are quite good, the atmosphere is cozy yet refreshing all with a small cafe vibe. Really enjoyed eating here and the prices are on par with other dinner chains. Why not rather support a family owned business where the owner takes pride in his food and restaurant.

Best breakfast in LA hands-down! Been coming here for the last 10 years and it's the best breakfast food in town. Love the outdoor indoor combination and it's a family business! Always smiling with excellent service! Definitely raise the bar for hospitality!

We came here for brunch on the weekend without realizing the restaurant does not serve mimosas... We ordered a few coffees to not be rude after we sat down and planned to go somewhere else for our breakfast (nothing against the restaurant, just wanted mimosas to celebrate). Told the server we just wanted to get coffees and the check. Another staff member came up to us and told us we couldn't only order coffee and we needed to spend at least $30. So we were forced to order more things... It did not state there was any minimum pp on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. We just shared a plate because we had to. The food and coffee was good... But we would not return after that situation. Staff treatment for hounding us to spend more $ was not a great experience.

I really like the place! They have a large breakfast and lunch menu. But I cant seem to order anything but their salads! They are SO good and they have a variety of entrée salads. If you aren't sure what you are craving- come here. They have a little of everything and you wont be disappointed.

Pancakes were great!  I could barely finish my two, these are large pancakes.  They were also excellent.  My carrot cake pancakes far exceeded my expectations.  I expected a too sweet pancake flavored sort of carrot cakish – which it was not at all.  There were bits of shredded carrots, plump raisins and walnuts – with a nice hint of sweet spices.  They were absolutely perfect. Mr. Grey loved his ultimate pancakes.  You can see the hearty oats, very filling. Coffee was good, was kept refilled. Definitely recommend!

The cuisine is described as 'California/Mediterranean'. On a warm day with a refreshing breeze, the patio is the perfect setting for hours of catch-up chat. There is just enough atmosphere to observe on Ventura Blvd., yet it is quiet enough for real conversation. The menu covers any meal of the day, but the pancakes are a MUST try. They offer quite the variety, but after three visits, I have yet to move beyond the sweet potato pancakes . They are scrumptious!!! They keep calling me...
