we are visiting LA, and we always like to visit Venezuelan restaurants to support the market, however we regret that our experience in this restaurant was not the best. We arrived at 11am and they no longer had any natural drinks, no Papelón with lemon, no juices, no Chicha, just sodas. We ordered 1 Cachapa with Cheese and two empanadas, when they brought us the food, they only brought us forks to eat, so I had to ask for the knife to be able to eat the cachapa and the girl who served us was surprised by the request as if it was not necessary . Everything lacked flavor, we had to add salt to everything to get any taste of the food. The restaurant is extremely expensive to go for a breakfast. We were not pleased in any way and left sad and disappointed! I hope they take the reviews into account to improve in the future.

Extremely over priced and terrible food. I have come here in the past and have had a decent experience. As of 2022 every single one of our dishes was awful. The arepas were stiff and covered in oil. Our arepa was not fresh, it was reheated and smothered in oil. Every single one of them. The stuffed one too. The eggs and chicken were cold. The coffee was cold. The vegetarian dish with spinach was covered in oil. The plantains were very greasy. Not a single compliment to this establishment. The bill came out to $90 and barely anything was eaten.
Upon overhearing our complaint the waitress talked back to us in a rude and unprofessional manner. We do not mind paying well worth the price for good food but this was not that kind of meal. We did not ask for a refund on anything nor were expecting a discount. Waitress said "if you didn't like it, don't come here". The place is under new management and to be quite frank, this is not authentic Venezuelan food. It is a tiny spot banking off its "aesthetic" and relying on its "cultural" element to attract clients. The new management must be people who have no idea how to make authentic Venezuelan food. I am going to conclude that all the positive reviews are likely from people who don't know what real Venezuelan food taste like and think the place looks "cute". Plain and simple, look elsewhere.

Delicious restaurant with reasonable prices and good service. The arepas are delicious, I've tried the spinach and eggs arepa, the ham cheese and egg arepa, and the sausage egg & cheese arepa, which were all good. They are also surprisingly filling and come at a good price (~$5). Their pancakes are okay, I wouldn't recommend them. The ambiance is really nice. And the customer service was good when I went. They gave me the check as soon as they brought the food, which was actually strange. They could've asked instead of assuming we weren't gonna order anything else. Overall a good restaurant.

VEGAN BRUNCH OPTION!! I had the arepas with Sautéed spinach and black beans ($14) with an almond milk latte (only milk option). We sat on a beautiful, shaded patio. Quiet, chill place. I wish they had more options but the meal was super tasty and mostly HEALTHY! I gave this a 3 instead of 4 bc more vegan options would have been cool, otherwise, TASTY!

Enjoyed this casual eating spot. Had some Venezuelan breakfast items such as arepas and cachapas. Solid food

I am a self processed foodie. Came here for the first time with some friends who are regulars. We sat in their quaint patio area and had a lovely time. The service was exceptional, and we didn’t feel rushed. This is a fantastic place for empanadas. The arepas were also delicious and fresh. I will certainly be back again. Thank you for the experience!
