Excellent place for dim sum!! Came on a Sunday and had super fast service once we sat down. So many choices from several different carts that came to our table. Food was fresh and very tasty. They also offer a regular main dish menu.
We enjoyed our Dim Sum time at this restaurant. Cantonese speaking staff makes us feels at home. The food is tasty and served warm.
As typical tourists, we spent the afternoon wandering about Chinatown. That made us hungry so we decided to find a place to eat. We selected Ocean Seafood because of the beautiful and almost hypnotic lobby area, the excellent menu, and the "A" rating from the health department posted by the door. We shared egg rolls, fried rice, and Peking duck. All dishes were excellent and quite tasty. Great choices for us. For a genuine ethnic Chinese dining experience, this place was truly fantastic! Service was excellent!
Arrived around 1pm, worried since dimsum ends at 3pm. Busy, but no wait. Still plenty of dishes to choose from. Ordered beef chow fun off the menu. Yum. Classic 2nd floor restaurant, attentive staff. Will totally return. They validate parking, or inexpensive all-day lots nearby ranging $5-$6. Strolled around the various shops afterward.
The dim sum was good. The service is acceptable. We paid 3 dollars for parking with validation. The shrimp dishes are delicious. The pork buns are excellent. The restaurant is well maintained. The prices are reasonable.
It's not the best Chinese food I've had but it's such a fun place, and the food is good for a very decent price. It's nice to have waiters walk around with plates and food just showing up.
We were craving a good feed of dim sum while awaiting our Amtrak departure. Read that this restaurant is rated one of the top 5 best dimsum restaurants in America. It was delicious and fast and had very friendly service also.
We always have a great meal and good service here. Today it was even better because the Tuesday after Armistice Day (OK, Veterans Day for the younger folks) was so slow that we were almost the only people in the place. Amazing. Dim sum is excellent!
This place has amazing food, really good quality and a great selection. The service is good and better than most hygiene for a dim sum restaurant (takes a little getting used to, seeing all the serving staff with clear plastic shields covering their face).
Why only 4 starts for such a good establishment? Price. Overall the food is reasonably priced, not that much higher than a lot of other places I've been to, but upon getting the check you discover that if one person asks for tea everyone at the table is charged $4.50 for tea - 10 people in your group, one wants tea, add $45 to your bill instantly. Way too much, especially as that was the only let down in service, it didn't arrive until halfway through the meal and they were really busy, so no refill once empty - It was the same person running chili and mustard, as well as tea, those arrived over halfway through the meal as well..
Fix the tea price/service, drop off chili-oil and mustard before the food arrives, you are instantly a 5* restaurant Ocean Seafood!

We went to Ocean Seafood for dim sum with a group of 8, include a young kid. We were served quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious and savory. There were even some seasonally themed pastries. As this is a family-style meal, splitting the check by who ordered what is near impossible, we bring cash to pay together.
