The Boiled Meat Dumplings are like soft little juicy pillows of joy that burst with delicious flavor the moment you bite into them. The Pan Fried Dumplings have a texture that is perfectly balanced and the taste is as they say, "to die for." The Beef Stew Noodle Soup is the ultimate comfort food to be sure. And no meal at The Mandarin Deli could ever be complete without the Cold Jellyfish Salad. Yum, yum!

When I want comfort food, it's my GoTo place! The noodle soups are divine! Pan fried dumplings, to die for! Try it. You'll keep coming back for more.

Comfort Food, Chinese Style. Mandarin Deli is the place to go when you feel the need for Chinese food and comfort food. Their vegetable dumplings are known to be famous and rightly so, they are amazing.
They do make some things to custom order and taste, for instance one can take the pork out of the mixed fried rice. And speaking of that Fried Rice; it is the thing I crave the most, while for Daniel it's the Chow Mein and the Orange Chicken.
Really this place is wonderful and take out is done the most by us, sitting in the restaurant is just as pleasing with the authentic Chinese feeling and decor along with the wait staff, and not to mention that there are many Asian people that eat there (a sign of a good Chinese food). The staff is friendly and the portions are enormous and worth every penny, not that it's too expensive to begin with!

It was my first time today at this locally family-owned restaurant. The food was excellent. Plenty of seating. I love the parking. I could eat here at least once a week or several times a week. Food prices are very reasonable. And it was nice seeing lots of families eating together with their parents and the children. Also saw some younger people maybe they were dating. It's just a good wholesome restaurant to have some good Chinese food

30 years ago this was the best dumpling & noodle place in southern California; there are now 100 other great dumpling & noodle houses in SoCal, but this one is just as great as ever and still competitive with newer top San Gabriel Valley places. Our favorites are the cold tofu salad (best anywhere), spicy pork chili soup noodle, of course the dumplings & scallion pancakes, excellent hot & sour, country style tofu, pungent shrimp. Handmade noodles are a great option, but the regular noodles are also surprisingly good. Beef noodle soup is legendary. Even Fried Rice is excellent.

I’m giving a 4 star because the food is really good, but the speed in which it comes out is not so great. It took 50 minutes for our first hot dish to come out (after asking if they forgot about our dishes) and that was slightly warm at best, but not hot. It’s unfortunate because I see so much potential if they did some basic updating to the place and revisited their service.

Great taste simple and usually ample parking. Get the hand made beef noodles. The onion cake is a great standard Pot stickers are a favorite too. If you don't want to travel all the way down to Monterey Park, this is a great option.

This is one of those restaurants where you want them to succeed but at the same time want to keep it as a secret to yourself with the fear that if the word goes out, you'll be stuck waiting in a line that will go out the door. The soothing calm classical music somehow orchestrates your experience as you get greeted with tea that somehow is always the perfect temperature. Not too hot but not cold. Their spicy beef soup with homemade noodles is a must. I can go on and on with their fried rice, their mandarin style chicken, scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings, and pretty much any item off the menu. It's all flavorful in here. I can't describe it as much as I would like but rather to recommend it and hope you get to try it!

I used to live in China, and this is the most authentic Chinese food place I have been to. Best Chinese food in the valley.

We've been going here for 10+ years. This is the place to get beef noodle soup, dumplings, stir fried rice cakes, and so much more. Our kids have grown up asking for food from here. Went in today to pick up togo and found out THEY ARE CLOSING AT THE END OF THE YEAR . A new noodle place will be there and they say it's also good but still! We are going to miss this place! They are going to be here until the end of the year so, I'll be back at least twice by then.
