So good I had to go back for dinner. I had lunch at Diablo and kept thinking about the tacos all day so I had go back for dinner as well. Really really good and laid back atmosphere, I think I prefer it for lunch over dinner though. Unfortunately didn't try any of the drinks or cocktails but I'm certain they're great. The pork belly taco and the garlic shrimp were so good.

Diablo is, for me at least, a new style, healthy, Mexican eatery.
It is located on Sunset Blvd. in the Silverlake area.
Parking is pretty easy on the streets, just mind the signs. I don't recall if they have a lot. I did not look.
On the outside it is painted black and red and is so cool looking. This is definitely one of those cool places that younger people go to, and then there is me and my grandson and we love it.
The interior is beautiful. There are long tables to sit at and a lot of single tables if you want that. The painting on the inside is ever so neat.
The service is the best. The people that work there seem to like their jobs and they are kind to everyone.
Their menu is great. They have a great selection of tacos and burritos and they even have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We ordered garlic shrimp tacos with rice and beans as well as a Mission Burrito which has Charro beans, Pico salsa, avocado, muenster cheese and whatever meat or fish you may want on it. All of it was just amazing, even the presentation was great. The garlic shrimp was my favorite and I could eat that everyday. It is so tender and tasty.
We don't drink, but they have a great bar and specialty drinks that you might like. They also have a good selection of beers.
This place is LGBTQ+ friendly which we also love. Everyone is just happy and friendly. You will love this place. Go there.

Giving props to this place. Good drinks, food and dog friendly. I had the Escobar margarita and I tried the passion fruit one as well. Escobar has a kick to it thanks to the red chili floating on top.l but nonetheless delicious. You won’t taste the chili after your first few sips. The passion fruit tastes like juice. The quesadilla was bomb! Stuffed with cheese and your choice of meat for a little extra, it’s worth the price. The barbacoa tacos are stuffed and delicious. The guacamole is great and the chips are crunchy and not oily. Got to check it out.
I did get the maple syrup friend chicken taco; I could have done without it.

The asada and fish tacos were very good and so were the drinks.

I haven't really been to many taco places here in LA even though I live here lol. But this place was very good! Their guac was amazing! Hands down that chef deserves a standing ovation.

As always, tacos were out of this world good, the blood orange IPA rocked and the service was amazing! Never ever had issues at this establishment. Love the ambiance, the food, and the service

Hands down one of the best taco spots in Los Angeles! I highly recommend this place and they also have daily specials on the lunch board so be sure to check that out. Obviously during the pandemic everything is to go but when the pandemic so over the inside is beautiful and they offer a lot of sports because they have at gazillion televisions. The owner and staff are great.

The barbacoa tacos meal I ordered rates about a 3/5 (bland rice and beans, barbacoa chunks in the taco were kind of dry), but I had to knock off another star for the poor service that came with it. Waited for around 30 minutes for this simple plate without so much as a check-in from the terribly uninterested guy who took my order. The restaurant was virtually empty at this time.
It’s a bit of a bad look on the establishment when the patron tips in advance only to get this kind of service in return. Meal itself was something I could’ve gotten faster, cheaper, and at a higher grade at many places in the Silver Lake/Echo Park area alone.
