Food and service was great! Came here to have lunch with family. It was a Friday buffet but was able to order off the menus. Buffet looked great though! I live within walking distance and so I'll definitely be back again with friends and family. Ambience was relaxing and clean… the decor could be updated though. ** There is also parking in the back.

Probably my top five Italian restaurants Ive been. The flavors & seasoning were just right for the dishes I chose. All cooked perfectly.
I recommend the lobster ravioli, calamari friti & chicken soup of the day. Old school looking spot where you can watch some sports. I’d come back again.

We went back for the lunch buffet... still good! The lasagna was especially cheesy and gooey, and the salad bar ingredients were all fresh and tasty. How many places give you salad shrimp, hearts of palm, artichokes, and lots of other add-ins?

The best food is served here and one of the waitress' I'm secretly in love with. But the best dinning experience I've had in a long time. They have gained a loyal customer for life. The pictures are chicken fettuccine alfredo, the best I've ever had.

This place was a huge part of my childhood. I remember standing at the window that once allowed you to watch the cooks make your pizzas. This place has gone through an amazing upgrade.
As for the food, it’s as amazing as I remember! My friends and I went with the family of four. You have your choice of soup or salad. I went with salad with blue cheese. We got their habit-forming garlic bread, pizza (half pepperoni and mushrooms and half pepperoni and jalapeños). We also each got our own plate with eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti with marinara. Each bite took me back to all those family meals there. I can’t wait to go back!

I tried the Cheese Pizza and Shrimp Allah Diavola pasta. The pizza was good, but the pasta was over cooked and lakes flavor. Only if they cooked the pasta a bit less and add a little more spinach or other vegetables for more flavor.. Service was great though!

It's been over 20 years since I've been here. So close to home & I forgot how good this place is. The pizza was awesome & the chicken alfredo was excellent. The portion was HUGH! I'm coming back to bring my family. The service by Alex was great! She was a nice, friendly & sweet.

Very few restaurants get a perfect score from me, Caruso's is one of them. There are no pictures because the food looked so good i had to dig in right away. All the food was good but, the pizza and lasagna if I had a big enough enough stomach i would still be there eating. So delicious, I tried everything and loved the pizza and lasagna. The atmosphere was what I expected an old Italian restaurant would be. Buffet style all you can eat. I left wobbling out the door. I couldn't eat dinner that night, I ate so much!

Cozy neighborhood spot. Visiting friends from out of town, and they took me here. I had the Angel Hair with Pesto, and it was the best that I’ve ever had - and the portions were huge. Great ambiance, and service. I would definitely recommend. Although we didn’t get one, my friends said their pizzas are incredible. I look forward to trying one on my next visit.

Out-of-towner, loved it!. My in-laws brought us here for dinner on our first night in town. I hope we get to stop in again before leaving. The food was excellent, atmosphere relaxing, waitstaff was friendly. We will definitely make it a stop each time we come back to visit.

Will do again. There were twelve of use at Caruso's on Dec 15, 2012. We didn't have reservations and just walked in. Everyone in our party was impressed with the quality that we didn't expect to find in Sylmar. We will all do it again. <br/>The waitress was more then excellent, she took the whole thing personally and treated us all like family.

I really like this place! The food was very good and the portions are big. It has a cute bar. It feels like a fancy restaurant in blue jeans. The waitress was not too good. Needs some customer training.
