Such a gem! Place has an interesting concept, seafood butcher shop on one end and a cafe on the other. The sushi grade bluefin tuna is divine, and the employees are extremely kind and helpful! Also, from my knowledge they only sell the meat to you, you will have to make your dish at home.

If you know, you know that The Joint is the best and only worthy seafood market in dare I say all of California, if not the nation. I gladly cross the 405 in traffic for a hit of what they’re selling. Fresh is boring and boredom is not served here. Ask the fishmonger for guidance if needed, don’t skip on the smoked scallops / fish and coffee and baked goods. Come back for hand-rolls at dinner time. Market is accessible to home, private and even the occasional celebrity chef.

Great options, but mostly for taking home not eating here. Things you can eat here - oysters, shrimp, smoked salmon

Such a dope spot in the valley. Was way pass 4 on a Saturday. They were not serving the Bento box but made and exception. It did not disappoint!!! Fantastic

Apparently I’ve snoozed on the magic of dry-aged fish for way too long. This past weekend my friends and I had the most incredible meal made possible by a small haul from the Joint Eatery: Chu Toro (plenty of fat and marbling) Buri (adult yellowtail) Kanpachi (amberjack) Ora King Salmon Scallops All dry-aged and absolutely scrumptious. Highly, highly recommend.

Pretty good spot to grab coffee from. They have some really unique coffee. I got their Nitro Cold Brew which was average and my wife got their cinnamon latte which she said was amazing. The Barista was good at her job but not to friendly. I don’t know if it’s the Covid or what. Definitely want to come back and try it again.

I just came across this amazing fish market/restaraunt that is relatively new and couldn't leave without posting something about it. Sadly, I didnt think about taking any pictures when I started off with the oysters, but they were phenomenal! Freshly shucked and delicous, it started me off with a small idea of the flavor this place can provide. I came with my girlfriend and her father because we were craving seafood and couldn't have come to a better place. If you are in the area and want clean and fresh seafood, this is probably the best option available! Walking in you see a display case of some of their produce which includes fresh wild caught fish, dry-aged fish, mussels, shellfish, and some cooks preparing meals right there behind the cases. Allow for a reasonable preparation time because.. IT WILL BE WORTH IT. I don't mind a little wait if it ensures freshness. I also have an appreciation for places that specialize in what they do because it shows they arent trying to please everyone, only the people who come for quality seafood. You'll see in their menus pretty much all the information you would need before ordering, and their staff are always ready to help or explain anything else you're wondering. Apart from their amazing produce (origins listed on menu,) you also have a choice of great drinks starting from fresh teas and coffees to great quality sakes, wines, and beer. I would go for a Junmai Daiginjo for the cleanest pairing. I personally love sake with fish. Whether you come by early for coffee, after a workout for healthy nourishment, or with friends for a nice meal and drinks, this place will leave you satisfied with what you spent. The prices are extremely just for what they provide, and the quality itself is enough for me to come back regularly. 5 stars easily.

Ray, the sweet girl that helped me suggested the Black Cod, pan prepared not baked and I chose carrots and beans. The carrots were sweet and tasty, just as I prefer them, and the beans cooked perfectly with soy and?? or whatever, really good. The Cod was prepared spot on. Soft warm pieces that melted in my mouth. I look forward to working through the menu at this place one dish @ a time.

Wow this place was amazing probably the best oysters in town. And the best clam chowder soup ever. my pictures speak for themselves. I cant wait to go back in the morning for breakfast and coffee. Fresh fish and coffee what a odd yet amazing combination.
