Yai Restaurant - Los Angeles - Photo album

Don't let the entrance fool you. This place served really great Thai foods. I went there and had shrimp tom yum along with shrimp fried rice with curry. The tom yum was delicious. The balance between the heat and sour was on point. The fried rice was creamy. The fried rice was slightly bland, but it
The people working here are sooo welcoming and kind. Feels like you’re apart of the family. It was very busy when I went in. And the food came out quick. I ordered the fish soup. Oh my goodness, it is so fresh and delightful!!!
Friendly, good food. Ordered the shrimp fried rice & glass noodle salad and of course a thai tea. Love coming here for food, I need to make another trip.
We had a FEAST at Yai! I’m surprised it doesn’t have good amount of reviews. Amazing flavors, vegeterian curry and delicious duck curry! I had the Nam Tok Beef salad and the taste was out of this world! My taste buds were going crazy!!! Try the shrimp soup too!
Authentic Thai food in a casual setting. Between my date and I, ordered: -Green Curry with chicken -Pad see ew with beef + fried egg The curry was rich and flavorful, with Thai eggplant and bamboo shoots that were well received. The chicken was cooked well. Pad see ew was delicious and good portio
This is probably my favorite Thai place now. Their Chinese sausage and pork fried rice was so flavorful that we ate the entire plate, and their pad see ew is one of the best in town. The soup was a little salty but still good! Cash only so don’t forget.
Authentic Thai food in Thai town🤤🤤 so happy I was introduced to this hidden gem by a friend In Thai, ‘Yai’ means grandma & the name is so fitting as the food was so comforting and legit. @eatswithedith 🍽️Ordered: 1. BBQ pork 2. Tom kha gai (hot & sour chicken soup w/ coconut milk) 3. Pad see ew w/
Yai has my vote for top tier Thai food. It is one of the best places in Thai Town in my opinion. I have tried all the spots around, and Yai does the classics very well. The crab fried rice is SO good and comes with a ton of crab! It is cash only. The space itself is lacking for a nice meal out. It
Best Thai Fried rice in a while! I ordered the a combination chicken & beef to go. Delicious, not dry or bland at all! I used to go to Torung , but the quality of their food has gone down hill. I think I found my new Favorite Thai restaurant. Food portion was great❤️
Not gone lie me and my brother where looking for a bathroom and the 7/11 across didn't have a bathroom so we went to this place just to buy the lowest item like a tea just so we can use the bathroom. My bro got the tea but I decided to get the fried pork belly since the lady at the counter recommend
This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, but it's worth seeking out. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch. The staff are always happy to chat, and they make you feel like you're part of the family.
I don’t live in LA, but i work out here often and always crave thai food when i land in Burbank. Over the years Ive tried a dozen places in and around Thai Town and literally nothing comes close to Yai. The flavors hit buttons you didn’t even know could be hit. It’s cash only and they don’t deliver,
Tried my of their dishes and was pleased with the flavor. It was good . I didn't expect to love the noodle with beef . I'll come back and I hope they don't forget my rice with shrimp next time.
The BBQ beef is tasty. The toasted chilly dipping sauce is the best in the biz. The pork larb goes unmatched. It's perfection.
Lot of good food for your bucks. Love their Pad Thai noodles and their Jungle Curry, that ironically includes seafood but no jungle animals, is tasty. Small parking lot shared with a 7-11. During PandemIc only take out.
An easy to miss Thai restaurant in a old strip mall. The menu is not super extensive but it has a lot of classics and Thai regulars. The tom kha hot pot was absolutely delicious because it had enough heat and just viscous enough to make the broth feel rich in both flavor and texture. Also, they had
They have the best thai food. Please stay away. I want it to all to myself:-) Go eat there and support this restaurant, its the best
