Great atmosphere, friendly service with a chilled atmosphere. Very clean and the food was fresh and very tasty 😋 I had the Original BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad and requested no chicken and add avocado 🥑 it was refreshing and so delicious 😋

Very nice California pizza kitchen. Conveniently located in an easy easy to reach area. This is a beautiful restaurant inside. I ordered two Cobb salads and they were ready in no time. This was a pick up order. It’s a pizza place but the Cobb salad here is amazing.

Came here for lunch and had the lunch duo. Ordered the guacamole and chips for an appetizer and it had more corn than avocado. Never had guacamole with corn before. We had to wait a bit for service but our server Adrian came to the rescue. I got the sausage and mushroom with cauliflower crust and the Thai salad. The food was excellent. Outdoor tables were weathered. I hope they replace them.

Limited menu but good in taste and good size of restaurant to have more people at once. Must visit for a good experience!

My niece and I went. The food was great. We shared a Italian chopped salad and a margarita pizza. And we had wine. The server was very good. So nice, and very attentive. Plenty of parking.

The Shrimp 🍤 Scampi Pizza 🍕 is very good. It's small but good. Maybe it's bc my girl took some of my slices but the pizza is amazing. If you want to be full, then I suggest getting the Shrimp Scampi Pasta 🍝

Tarzana was the location for the jungle found in the Tarzan movie series (1932-1948) starring the Olympican, Johnny Weissmuller. His famous recorded call was used by every actor playing Tarzan, except, perhaps, Carol Burnett, whose comedic interpretation brought Tarzan to her CBS comedy program. Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950), Tarzan creator, lived nearby in Encino California. He was laid to rest in his creation, Tarzana. Tarzana's post office has a collection of Burroughs' memorabilia on display. The CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN at Tarzana (CPK), part of the national chain, offers a unique interpretation of international dishes. CPK offers almost two dozen "international" pizzas. Their various toppings include barbecued chicken, Thai chicken, pepperoni, roasted artichoke, and wild mushroom. All are built on thin wheat or califlower crust. This very busy eatery provides excellent, attentive service. Our server, Edgar, is knowledgeable and friendly. Sliced French bread is accompanied with an oil and balsamic vinegar dip. Our meals at CPK came out quickly. Instead of pizza, which we have had several times, I ordered the (vegan) Bolognese Spaghetti sans the cheese. The pasta was served Al dente, with a fresh tomato garlic sauce. My partner's Chicken Milanese, is topped with arugula, house made checca sauce, finished with olive oil, and shaved Parmesan cheese. Servings are large. My partner also ordered a slice of key lime pie on a graham cracker crust, topped with whipped cream. (Several desserts are available.) On another visit to CPK, I ordered an off menu vegan "Guacamole Pizza." Two menu items are required. First order a small, baked, wheat pizza crust. The kitchen will divide it into four wedges. Also, add an order of spicy, white corn guacamole. Spread about half of the chilled, jalapeno, white corn guacamole onto the warm pizza crust. And enjoy. Take home the extra guacamole and chips. STUFF: This is a good, busy eatery. Everything is ADA compliant. Parking is free in their lot. The restrooms are near the front, just past the bar.

Just thought I'd give a shout out to the California Pizza Kitchen in Tarzana, California. Stopped in and ordered lunch today at the bar area as it was only me. Once again, great service was extended to me almost immediately after I sat down. Natali took my order and made a suggestion that made much more sense than what I was attempting to order. I appreciated her help and really enjoyed the quality of the food, as always. Once again, I appreciate this quality of service and care that CPK extends to its customers. Well done CPK team. You ROCK! ✌️😎

Cpk is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. They are very consistent with their food and never let me down, not to mention the staff is very nice and make you feel welcome. Not to mention their store bought frozen pizzas are great also. Well deserved 5/5!

What an awesome experience. Everything was awesome. I wasn't too sure about the sauce on the pizza that i ordered as it had cilantro and I do not like cilantro. The waiter said that if I did not like it, that they would make me another pizza. Ended up that I loved the Carne Asada pizza. Can't wait to go back.

Had a delightful lunch with a friend yesterday. We were seated immediately, had wonderful service, and lunch duo of meatless bbq chicken pizza with a Mediterranean salad was terrific!! Great experience from a solid chain 💖

Their food is always consistently good. I like splitting their pizza and a salad with others at my table. This location seemed busier than usual and their parking is limited. The service was good.

We love CPK, we have been going to CPK for more than 20 years, couple years ago we went to this CPK in Tarzana and so far this is our favorite CPK location because of nice service, nice location and delicious food.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star. Not only this place is not so much of a vegan friendly restaurant, I can literally count on one hand how many vegan operations they have on their menu, and will probably left with couple of fingers. Yesterday they were "kind enough" to create a vegan dish for me. I made sure multiple times that I'm vegan and what exactly the word "vegan" means. The waiter went to ask the Chef and came back with a dish covered with a parmesan cheese! When I told him it's a cheese he started to argue with methat it's not and that I'm mistaking cheese with garlic, then when I prove it to him, the manager came and argued with me as well without even checking out the dish. He did a favore by "not charging me on that dish" (thanks a lot.. really..) And was rushing to give us the check. (We didn't ask for it) He was really rude, the service was bad. I will NEVER go back to this place. So disappointing, since I've been there countless times. Put your money somewhere you will actually get a good service and appreciation.

The ultimate bloody mary was indeed ultimate!!! The butter nut squash soup omg!!! The 5 mushroom pasta wow!! And the spinach artichoke dip chicken pizza with thin crust holy moly !!! Wat an amazing experience!!!

I had the smashed Dakota pea and barley soup and the Thai crunch salad. As always it was delish! My friend had the artichoke and spinach flatbread pizza... Also delish!. Yummy sangria.

WOW the Ribeye on the bed of Arugula with the fingerlings is absolutely what this menu needed to add...simply amazing! Excellent flavor, seared perfectly and everything seasoned just right. Even the very light dressing on the arugula was spot dead on a perfect flavor compliment to the meat. Although most would have paired it with red wine, I wanted to try new menu options and I did not go wrong with the Summer Sangria...please take note of the cute test tube glasses it is served in. To top it off the service from both of the host and hostess opening the door for me to the waitress was top notch. Tarzana CPK has it all in order...KUDOS!

Robert always makes sure my Jambalaya is perfect and he is so nice to my children. We eat there all the time.

This pizza has horrible crust, and tastes too much like that Pacific rim junk you get all through the California coast. It would last about a momth in Chicago where the worlds best pizza is made.

We ordered two ribeye steaks and they only had one left, it was lunch time so I didn't understand why they ran out.

20 year customer very angry. Salads are diminished. Done. Better restaurant choices.
