Great atmosphere. I visited the restaurant coming from a quiet town in Wisconsin. Coming here it was loud since the place was small and somewhat crowded. But that was the beauty of it. LA is a busy city much like New York City and Chicago. If you're looking for a local breakfast bite this is the place to go. Customers were friendly, staff was attentive and the food was phenomenal (foodie here). I had the Migas which is pretty much a deconstructed breakfast taco with chorizo and eggs. Well presented as a server would clean the plates and tidy them up to look professional. My wife had the Power House (healthier option) with grilled chicken, egg whites, spinach and tomato sauce which was amazing for a healthy option. Tastes fresh and the best part was that you could taste every little ingredient in the dish. There were three places we went to during our stay that I said I'd visit again next time I'm in town. This was definitely one of them.
The service was great, the food was delicious. We had Avalon as a waitress she was excellent, very attentive to our needs !!!
This place is awesome, as with any place in LA, parking is atrocious but a cheap parking lot is located extremely close By on the Main Street. This restaurant is located inside of another building with other food establishments but don’t be fooled, this is the place you want to go.
The food and coffee were amazing. Don’t sleep on the smoked salmon Eggs Benedict, it was awesome, and the small roaster potato’s were so perfectly crispy I wish I could go back for more.
My friend got a pumpkin spice Latte and I got a sea salt caramel latte and honestly I wish I could have tried every single latte they had.
Tasty breakfast and lunch spot situated in the Spring Arcade Building.
Dog and kid friendly. To place an order, scan the QR code on the table or walk up to the order counter.
My BLTA came on a hot plate, had a nice crunch to the rustic sourdough bread, was loaded with avocado and had the perfect amount of bacon, butter lettuce and tomato. They use a chipotle aioli over your classic Mayo, makes the sandwich feel Californian.
We tried the menu hit - their crunchy French toast. Such a fun twist!! They dip their toast in cornflakes and grill it. Served with a vanilla sauce and plenty of fresh berries + powdered sugar. If you crave classic french toast, this may not do the trick. It’s a personal preference and worth trying.
Super nice staff members, inviting atmosphere that made me feel like I was in a different place than L.A
Lovely little cafe vibes, with modern twists and delicious eats. Ordering is primarily done with online site or app. You can order at counter but easier to just use a phone.
Seemingly a bit pricey, but high quality tastes and big portions.
Just be aware that once you get seated you got to order online via QR code on table once you’re at your table because there isn’t a waiter that will take your order. I didn’t know but my buddy told me after he got his food.
Overall the food presentation is up there, I ordered the Power House with Egg whites, spinach and chicken(I’ve had other versions which were more flavorful but it did the job, chicken was tender and it was a descent size portion), side of chicken sausage(tasted good, but about average) & side of bacon(cooked perfectly and crispy).
Definitely a great lunch spot but can get very very busy, lots of great restaurants/cafe’s on the row to visit also.
***Update***
Had their Chilequiles(delicious & recommend) and vanilla latte(amazing coffee!).
Their Argentinian steak and eggs with hash is the best breakfast dish I’ve ever had.
We got the breakfast quesadilla and the crunchy french toast. We would easily go back for the quesadilla it was savory and a great breakfast meal. On the side we got the potatoes which were nearly perfect, slightly salty cooked to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The crunchy french toast is their signature dish but it was only ok, not something I would go back for or even recommend. The toast was much like toast, the berries and the vanilla bean sauce made the diah enjoyable, but something that is easy to skip.
The food was pretty damn good! And the lady we had helping us how to order our food was nice too. Weird way to self order from the table. I couldn't really figure it out, but the cashier lady was more than happy to take my order in person. The drinks were really flavorful as well. The coffee was rich and robust. Love the fact that they do brunch on weekdays. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the mimosa is pretty overpriced for the quantity. Other than that, great place to visit!
My friend and I were looking for a breakfast spot close to the Last Bookstore and this place hit the spot! We went on a Saturday Morning and the wait wasn't too long. We got the breakfast burrito, breakfast burger, crunchy French toast (to share) and a French press coffee. The savory entrees were delicious but the star of the show was the crunchy French toast. I usually don't like sugary breakfasts, but this French toast was very good. Additionally, they have a special house hot sauce that was super good!
The signature Crunchy French Toast didn't disappoint, & neither did the Tofu Tex-Mex Hash. I definitely recommend both. Be prepared to order & take care much of your service. The wait staff delivers the food & busses tables. But everything else is up to you.
This brunch restaurant is located at the plaza of the Spring Arcade Building. If your visit time is peak hour, you may have to wait in the queue for 30+ minutes, but I will say it’s totally worth it!
We ordered French Toast, Carbonara, and Benedict. All of them are fantastic!
Fresh toast comes with cherries and two kind of sauces. The taste of sauces really makes me feel that I am in paradise! With the sourness and sweetness of the cherries, it’s so lovely!
The Benedict is also amazing! The yolk is fresh, and after you poke it with a folk then let the yolk be evenly distributed above the baked potatoes and salmon; I am sure you will love it!
Sooooooo good. The pics says it all. Parking on the street. Coffee was so good. Water was so fresh. Follow me for more!
