Absolutely breathtaking food and service! The venue is clean and we were greeted quickly. This place is where you order and they give you a number to take back to a table. You seat yourself. The smells lure you into a raging hunger and the displays are very appetizing. The food was delicious and flavorful! There was a plethora of food options. They also sell adult libations to moisten your palette as you shovel the food into your mouth. I definitely recommend this place!

This place has one of the most unique avocado toast I’ve ever had! It’s got orange, and radish and pistachios and things you would usually not associate with an avocado toast and may have a hard time imagining how it’s all going to come together. But there’s a method to this madness. It somehow comes all together beautifully and creates a burst of flavors in your mouth. The orange adds freshness, pistachios add the crunch, radish breaks the monotony of the usual flavors and avocado simply gets to be the star of the dish. They do bake fresh breads there, so your toast is also going to be mouth-watering.
It’s a bit expensive, but worth it in my humble opinion.

Absolutely wonderful! So delicious and cute, our favorite place my husband and I have eaten at on our vacation trip! French toast was great, the baguette and chocolate croissant even better! Coffee too! All so wonderful 😊

Super cozy place with awesome bakery and bread. We had breakfast from avo bruschettas and pesto pasta. I didn’t really like onions in my bruschettas but combination of avo and oranges was 👌. And danishes with raspberries and apricots were really delicious.
Also they have a free parking for an hour that’s quite enough for breakfast

Great food with so much variety. We ordered 2 omelette that's perfectly cooked, seared tuna salad with multiple grains and veggie and banana pacan toast. It's the Go-to place for the locals. Average price per dish $10-$12.

It was okay. Pretty basic bakery but it’s good and hits the spot. Tasted fresh and the coffee was good. I prefer indoor dining at this spot since the outdoor is a little noisy. Overall, I enjoy it

Nice, relaxing cafe for a brunch. A bit on the pricier side in my opinion like having brunch in NYC, but that's what you get in this neighborhood. Portion is on the smaller side, but it's filling enough. I had the pecan french toast which was not as sweet as it sounds and that's how I like my sweets. My husband had the chicken, gravy and biscuit and he really liked the biscuit (he usually complains it's not Southern enough). The chicken was very good too (ugh he had the better choice this time).

This was my first visit to La Brea Bakery. I didn't have much expectation, I thought this would be one of usual bakery. But found out to see they have dine-in tables and actual meals in their menu. Since I love to try anything new, I decided to dine-in and have their breakfast. I decide to have their B.E.L.T. Sandwich. The Sandwich came with Taos Potatoes which was plus. The Sandwich taste pretty good especially the egg was over easy, and made the Sandwich very tasty. The bacons was pretty thick. The price is not too cheap (my Sandwich was $15) but I guess those are going rate for anywhere in descent restaurant now days. But over all my experience with the restaurant is pretty good. Oh the waitress were very friendly and gave me really good service. I would come back if I am aroma JD this area again and try their Pecan Stuffed French Toast since I love any type of French Toast.

Wow everything about this restaurant was well executed. From the valet parking the moment we got there (which is reasonably priced; $8/hr, first hour is free!) to the food and the service! We ordered at the cashier and had a pleasant interaction. When we sat down, a server came around promptly with our drinks, then another person came by asking if we needed anything, then someone came with our food and then someone else came to check in after that. All very friendly interactions. And The food was spectacular! You can tell that they use very fresh products and take great care in how they prepare everything. Reasonably priced and with small outdoor patio. Will definitely be coming back again!

Oh I loved this place, reminded me of a nice bakery that I always go when I’m in Mountain View, super chill, not that crowded, no crazy long waitlists in the weekends and amazing food. We ordered egg benedicts, mushrooms and goat cheese omelette, cinnamon latte and an Americano. All of them were delicious, I loved my cinnamon latte, would definitely order it again when I’m back there, egg benedict was tasty too, the over easy eggs and crunchy potatoes. They also have this nice outdoor area that was super nice on a not so chilly day. Definitely recommend this place and would go back there soon. 😋😋

(Grade A) Everything I got was delicious with the exception of the Short Rib/cheese sandwich, and the Kouign-amann, which was just OK as a pastry, but it was no Kouign-amann, it was more like a bread pudding, minus the pudding. The Kalamata olive bread, excellent, the spinach/feta croissant, of the charts, the regular croissant was ok, the chicken & Burrata was excellent, the quiche was wow! The crust was delicious, the quiche inside with the zucchini, well it just worked that's all I have to say. Can't wait to go back and get some more and try them.

A solid option for breakfast or brunch. The space is pleasant, the staff is very nice, the food is fresh and usually comes fast. They have a couple of vegan options (wait for it... yes they will make you avocado on toast 😂). They only get four stars because the bread is not actually that good, it still tastes quite artificial and it's clear they don't take the time to let the dough raise naturally.

My review is based on one Sunday morning visit with wife and toddler. Love the large windows that let in a ton of natural light and the service was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese croissants along with an omelette and drinks. Really enjoyed our experience and I'm sure we'll be back. Bought an olive loaf to take home and can't wait to see how it tastes.

Perfect tomato soup with just the right amount of spice! The grilled cheese sandwich made on fluffy thick bread was perfection! Honestly, even the crisp fries are worth raving about with the fresh sprinkle of herbs.

You leave feeling you've been someplace special. My "love affair" with LaBrea Bakery started some 20+ yrs ago. Inspiring to see it grow into the wonder it has become today.
Look for George at the take out counter...he's been there since it opened...charming gent. (ask him about his dog, Charlie)
Gorgeous selection of: salads...cheeses...olives... vegan treets...sweets...BREADS...
only the best!
They have a real "winner" in the Manager. Frederic Charles
Staff is: coordinated...knowledgable...well groomed...and pleasantly professional! Teams of European class serve up a beautifully prepared and presented lunch.
Yam chips are a diffinant choice over regular fries (you can get at the Mac). The Thousand Island dressing is spicy...on the hamburger. Medium rare is just that...pink and delicious! The bun felt like it got dropped in a greasy skillet and served anyway.
The turkey avocado was so good! Fresh...fresh...fresh. starting with that delicious bread, it's just a yummy chew.
Salads that passed by looked stunning...shaved cheese!
Large cloth knapkins...heavy flatware...water carafe at the table...and my big test...used sugar wrapper picked up!!! All go into making this a diffinant 5☆ experience.
Worth the money!
One of my top 10 Lunch Spots...with pleasure!
