Joe Peep's New York Pizza

My boyfriend is a bit of a pizza snob (he's a NJ transplant) and this place totally exceeds his sky high pizza standards! We are in a long distance relationship and I like to surprise him sometimes by ordering from this place and having it delivered to his house. I asked the peeps at Joe Peeps to write notes from me on the inside of the box and they have been so sweet and accommodating about it. I've also been lucky enough to have a few slices here myself and it does not disappoint!

Im a volunteer youth basketball coach - and whenever we have our post season trophy day - i always order the BEST pizza and pasta in town - namely - Joe Peeps.  Ive tried them all - im from NY - Peeps still is not as good as NY Pizza - but - for STudio City CA - it works.  No one over the years has ever said anything negative about Peeps Pizza.  They deliver - and they have large pizzas that can feed an army.  Enjoy.

Best Pizza on Earth!. Kinda says it all, the Blue Collar thin crust pizza is the best I have ever had anywhere. Watch out if you get the regular pizza cause it is enormous. The Baked Ziti is incredible as are the other paste dishes but the pizza is the reason to go to Peep's. I have gone to Peep's since I was a student at North Hollywood High School just down the street that was like 25 years ago when I graduated and about 27 years ago that I first discovered the Peep's, just thinking about it now even though I just ate I am getting hungry for a slice. GO, GO! Delivery might take a few minutes longer than the average Pizza joint, this is no way average, it is THE BEST! So go, pick up your pizza and write your name on the wall, beside if you cut the right card your pizza might be free!

This pizza place has a cool vibe. You can write anything on the walls. The walls all have graffiti on them. Joe peeps food is excellent. Especcially the thin crust pizZa. Also the garlic bread is great.

Small local NY style pizza joint. I like their blue collar style (thin crust) pizza best! They def do not skim on toppings when you order the original crust. They also sell pizza by the slice! One of my favorite pizza spots in town. Plenty of parking!

The pizzas here are great! Came in for a few slices and the prices are really reasonable. Two toppings for only 450. My husbands been going here since he was a kid so it’s got a lot of nostalgia for him. You can write on the walls which is really fun, they have markers at the front.

2022.04-26/TUE_1640: THE ONLY pizza I can eat. I'm highly allergic to tomatoes and I'm gluten intolerant but how is it that I can have Joe Peeps' pizza???!!! I love the staff here and the music is always the greatest, too! They're always smiling and the ambiance is always the same when we visit! Today was great because I was able to order a pizza for take away and pick it up. So it was awesome to see the wonderful staff that makes the incredible food and who I've spoken to on the phone as well. We have to order delivery must of the time because if we leave the house, we won't have parking! It was a treat to meet and see everyone in action! Anyway, the food quality is insane here. I can't say that enough. I have no allergic reactions to their pizza sauce and dough! This means the ingredients are of excellent quality. The amount of toppings on the pizza is always the perfect amount and the ingredients are always fresh! I usually buy a container of the pizza sauce so I can use it to cook something at home. That's how much I love their sauce. I'm not allergic. What is it?! Homegrown tomatoes? The Steak Sandwich....oh, dear heavenly Father... wow. I can honestly say that this is the ONLY place that has the closest thing on the menu that tastes just like a Philly Cheesesteak. Oh, what in the world is this??!! We had gotten a large Steak sandwich and added cheese. I couldn't even take a bite, the sandwich was so huge. Not only was this a behemoth of a sandwich, the steak...the steak was not Steak Ums meat. It was thinly sliced, tender steak. What the heck. The cheese was stringy and melted perfectly throughout the sandwich and there were onions and green peppers just buried in there. The bread...SO soft and it was not thick and dense at all. The bread soaked up the drippings of the steak. How?! It WILL melt in your mouth! You definitely will NOT be disappointed. If you want to dine in and have a slice, you can! They sell them by the slice! You don't have to buy a whole pie! The entrance is located behind the store in the parking lot. How great. They have their own parking! You have to see the interior because you'll see celebrities that have visited as well as the shipping tickets for pizza that have been sent overnight to other states! I swear in 2011, I saw a shipping ticket for one that went to my hometown in Virginia Beach, Virginia!!! Now there are more! There's Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio, too. I would do the same if I had to move away for a special treat!! Most of my reviews were done on Yelp! First things first - sadly, I'm highly allergic to tomatoes and for some reason, I am able to eat Joe Peeps' pizza sauce and I can also have their baked Ziti, too. Anything with their sauce, I'm able to eat without any kind of allergic reaction. This tells me that they're using quality ingredients and/or their tomato sauces are cooked for hours and it removes the protein in the tomatoes that I'm allergic to - who knows. Anyway, each time we've ordered from Joe Peeps, the food quality had always been outstanding and plentiful. We love the two types of crusts available for there pizza. You have the "Blue Collar" which is more of a thinner New York style crust and the "5,969 Calorie" style pizza is a thicker crust. We've tried both and both are FANTASTIC. You can't go wrong with whatever size pizza you get because where it's either style, one slice is as big as your face! Their Baked Ziti is delicious as well as their sandwiches, too. Their portions are incredible. The best part of Joe Peeps is that you can purchase their dough and their sauces so you can make your own dishes at home! I do this since I have a nasty tomato allergy.

Been going here for 12 years. They got me to like pineapple on pizza. My theory is the sauce they use compliments the pineapple well. The crust is delicious, I even eat the left over piece at the end. And they load up with toppings. I think it's the only pizza pie place that is good in the valley.

My favorite pizza place in the San Fernando Valley. Joe Peeps for me is a treat! I don't know what it is exactly, but their pizza is perfect. The sauce is tasty and fresh. They use quality cheese and do not, in the slightest, skimp on toppings. I almost feel like they put too many toppings on a pizza! There service has definitely improved in the past 2 years both in service and customer interactions. The staff are all friendly and I cannot forget to mention their iconic graffiti wall. I highly recommend Joe Peeps for anyone looking for delicious pizza! P.S., I would recommend ordering a large since anything bigger than that has thinner than usual crust!
