Cheng Du - Los Angeles - Photo album

Nice place for dinning. Food is good. Service is very good. Just tell them what you want and they will work in it. We order whole fried fish from the chef's specialty. We ask them to separate the sauce and waiters said "fish will not taste good coz we need to cook the sauce together with the fish to
Excellent place and service I've been coming here for 15 years never been disappointed. The food is great and the lunch specials are awesome. Food is delicious and service is quick.

Was stuck in rush hour traffic and noticed this restaurant and someone walking out with takeout. Decided to stop in for dinner. Haven’t had this good Chinese food since I lived in New York City almost 15 years ago. The food was amazing and service was excellent. We also enjoyed the cozy, quiet ambi
We ordered takeout from Cheng Du and every single thing was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Some of the best Chinese food I've had on the west side. We got: Hot and sour soup, vegetable fried rice, moo shu pork, hot eggplant a la chung king (my favorite!), Spicy dried string beans, hot spice s
I started working down in Santa Monica and I was looking for a little place to go to for lunch on the regular. After trying a few places, a co-worker recommended Chengdu so I tried it out. I have to say that it is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I love their lunch specials, the food is full of fl

This is our second time to dine in here for dinner and both times were excellent! They start you off with a pot of tea and wonton chips (free). The portions are large enough to share and we upgraded our dish to a "dinner special" for an additional $3.95 (This means cup of soup, an egg roll, and a fr
Really fantastic food for more than fair prices. The restaurant itself is very mellow, but the service is fast and attentive. My wife and I are always treated well at Cheng Du. Love the complimentary hot tea and wanton strips! I recommend dining in, as you seem to get more food for the same price th
On Christmas day, a secular Jewish girl and a New Thought Christian girl walk into a Chinese restaurant. Sounds like a set up for a joke. But in actuality, it was a great place for great Chinese food. Excellent "Three Flavors in Sizzling Hot Platter" - shrimp, scallops, steak, vegetables with noodl
Amazing vegetarian chop suey. Lunch special comes with tea, rice and rolls and chips. Very friendly service. Old school Chinese decor. Reasonable prices.
Absolutely excellent, lovely dinner with my daughter. Complimentary fried wontons with dip and a pot of jasmin tea, complimentary with meal. Staff are very attentive and accommodating, meal was delish, prices extremely reasonable. Super surprise for the area, but then my daughter lives up there.
Tasty food, big portions, great value. Home style Chinese food. Not the fanciest place but one that makes you feel welcome. Ample free parking next to the side of the restaurant is nice. Great for takeout as well.
My favorite restaurant at all time👌🏻
My friend and I have been coming here for over 15 years- we’re “seniors “ and I have no idea where the negative reviews ate ‼️ I have never had better Chinese food or service. My two favorites are shrimp in black bean sauce and scallops- I’ve never had a bad scallop - which is something I can’t say
