I've been visiting Summer canteen for at least the last five years. Probably longer. It is good food. I wouldn't say it's completely authentic Thai food and it is a little bit on the sweeter side. I do think it's a solid choice for Thai food in the area though. The atmosphere is okay. I find the dining area a little uncomfortable and it's usually kind of cold inside....but I would rather that vs too hot. Most of the dishes are very good. I will say that orange chicken is consistently overcooked.
Good location for an outdoor snack. The ambulance dine in is pleasant.
Menu includes happy hour drinks, salads, Thai dishes to take away tea and coffee.

I came here with a friend on a Monday afternoon, and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful, and the staff were super friendly.
Our food arrived quickly after ordering and was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable.
I love that they offer a nice variety of vegetarian options, and use Impossible meats in the vegetarian dishes. I had the Impossible Drunken Noodles, and honestly, I can't stop thinking about it, (I'll definitely be beck).
Everything was cooked to perfection. The Thai Iced Coffee was amazing too.
If you're in the area, this place is not to be missed. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
Love the food and options for vegans. The sevice was super and the atmosphere is nice. Perfect for meetings and just reconnecting with friends over good food.
Absolutely delicious, with great service to boot. Highly recommend the curry noodles if you want a rich, hearty flavor. Notable beer selection. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit!
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the city. I don’t do reviews and this spot deserved one! Edamame was A-1! The pad see yew was fire! I got all the feels! Ate the whole thing too!!
So far I've had the pork belly, calamari, tom-kha soup, egg rolls, garlic noodles with beef, and drunken noodles with chicken and tofu. The pork belly was amazing!!!!!! The drunken noodles are my favorite and never disappoint...I'll be back to try some other dishes but WOW THE PORK BELLY OMG OMG OMG
Great flavors and garnished well. Will definitely come back for the Pad Thai. And really want to try the green curry
Summer Canteen continues to impress and consistently delivers excellent food and service. Since moving to the area eight years ago this has been one of my top favorite restaurants in the city. I have never had a bad dish or bad service.
The food here is freshly prepared and served hot with a smile. If you love Thai food or if you have never tried Thai food, you WILL love this place. And to turn it up a notch, I would say it's Thai Fusion cuisine.
The restaurant has recently added a new happy hour menu with drink and appetizer specials. And continues to offer great lunch combo specials.

I am a local and dine here as well as order take-out quite often. The food is always on point. The drunken noodle is something to rave about and I crave it constantly!! It's fresh, flavorful and spicy. Just what I would want from
Thai food. The curry noodle is also a great, comforting dish. It hits the spot on a rainy day. The service is friendly, but leaves something to be desired in terms of efficiency, especially if you sit out of eye sight. You kind of feel like they've forgotten about you. But I will always come back for the wonderful food and lovely ambiance.
