Groundwork Coffee is my favorite, and this location will now be my go-to cafe! The staff was so friendly and welcoming -- every single one of them! They all seemed to love working there and appreciate their customers. Customer service can make or break an experience, and this team definitely made our experience a positive one! I love the all-day breakfast burrito and the homemade sauces, and their cold brew is one of the best I've had. Lots of outdoor seating too. Highly recommend!

Great local coffee shop to grab a drink to go or a bag of beans for later. Service is a quick walk up inside and there is patio seating available out front on Rose or on the side of the building. Ample parking for bikes and you can usually find a street spot in a car. Definitely the best & fastest non-chain coffee you can get this close to the beach. Service is always excellent. I've seen the staff go above and beyond on multiple occasions.

I love this coffee shop, it’s my go-to. Non-pretentious, sensible location that just serves really great coffee and food (burrito bite slaps). Really spacious patio that is great for getting work done. I saw someone else say that the atmosphere here is lacking compared to other coffee shops nearby but that’s why I love you groundwork <3

Lots of outdoor seating and free WiFi so you can sit and do work for a while. I had a honey matcha drink that was really tasty. I’m knocking off 1 star because the vibe is just not quite as nice as some of the other coffee shops in the area.

It’s a cute coffee place in Venice. I had the Beehive Matcha Latte and was decent. The friend egg sandwich is pretty good. They have a nice outdoor seating too.

We frequented this joint for breakfast, salads & coffee while staying in Cali for the week. It was the perfect find! The coffee was clean and pure... tasted so good along with their meals. The atmosphere is the kind of place you hang out with anyone. I saw families, people just meeting up, people doing meetings, studying, sharing tables and a couple IG stars.... nothing pretentious about the place. Loved it so much bought their awesome coffee tumblers and a T! A Must see if ever near there!

I am confused by why everything is served in takeaway cups and food in carton boxes when I am sitting on the terrace outside to consume it after ordering.. good coffee tho, the food was fridge cold which also is a bit odd to me (avocado toast)

Every time we are in LA we always end up stopping here at least once. The Mexican Mocha is very good with just the right amount of cayenne. The food here is also good at any time of day. The breakfast parfait is delicious and the French toast with fresh berries and fresh whip cream is worth the trip. Has a strong organic menu and compostable coffee cups. A great scene filled with a mix of yogis, people working, lively music and dogs. Indoor and outdoor seating too.

I was a bit hesitant to visit this place because of some bad reviews and the overall appearance of the restaurant. Once inside I felt at home immediately. Great friendly service. Good vegan options for breakfast. Fresh tasty coffee. Fast service. Sunny outside seating. My breakfast burrito was one of the burritos I ever had.

Very delicious light balanced coffee. Wonderful pastries donuts and sandwiches, and a very unique dining area inside and outside cafe with breezy beach air. Lovely establishment and I'll be back for years to come, they open nice and early so you can get your day going with coffee and a treat.
