Wow, what a fun experience! We were driving by and looking for a quick breakfast. We found it. Parking was easy because they have their own parking lot. My friend ordered the John Wayne breakfast. It looked amazing and he said it was fantastic. I ordered an chorizo omelette. They make the chorizo on-site and it showed. I didn't get potatoes and requested tomatoes. My meal came with a biscuit the size of a salad plate. What really made the visit special is that the cook and waitress were so nice. I hope to go back when in town.

Nice little Port of Los Angeles breakfast place. Old school style.

Amazing food! Classic diner feel. Not really that much to look at, but the service is friendly and the food is more than worth it. I will definitely be back here for more tasty goodness. The decor is pleasant and very ocean/sailing themed. You can tell the place has been there a whole, which gives it a little bit of a dated look. Clean though. The coffee is good. This is a fantastic breakfast spot.

Small business with friendly servers. Food was really good, took a while but worth the home cook meal. The chicken nuggets on the kids menu is enough to share for 2 kids & was so delicious!! You could tell they were NOT the frozen type of chicken nuggets. Even use adults loved the flavors of the chicken nuggets.

The food was delicious and the portions were filling. This place though gets its 5 stars because their service goes above and beyond. We went there this morning and the server overheard us taking about the hotel we were staying at and asked what brought us to town. We told her we had come for a funeral and she went around the table giving each of us hugs and went out of her way to make sure our mother was okay since she was taking it hardest. She made the day so much better for us and there is no way we could ever thank her enough. That level of service is hard to find.

Had a friend visiting from NY and decided to try this place for the first time...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME LOOK LIKE A HERO! Our food was delicious, an order of French Kiss and an order of Corned Beef and Hash, and the service was perfect. I recommend that anyone check them out for breakfast. The crowd was nice around 8am on a Wednesday, when I went and it certainly helped me over the "hump" 🐪 this week.

We came here for breakfast and we were not disappointed. We had the biscuits and gravy and the huevos rancheros and they were amazing. I have never had such great food and a little diner, whenever we are back in town we will be back here for sure. Big portions and very flavorful food, the staff is also very nice and informative of the menu.

Very open and spaced out. You don't have to squeeze between seats or tables or be so close you can hear the private conversation in the next booth. I love it. Very clean, no smells, and customer service is GREAT. The biscuit is HUGH.

Loved this place! Great interaction with guests, nice decor & mural on outside of this little food heaven. Menu has a good variety to suit everyone's tastes and the portions are out of this world. Owner is a pleasure.
