Love this bakery! I go here all the time and the only downside is they are so good they run out of the good stuff quickly but then if you go early there is a line. The Village Bakery has some of THE BEST bread in the area. I recently went to a bakery in Echo Park that sells a walnut raisin bread that was so hard it was inedible!
