Love this place!!! Feel right at home! Vendors are friendly and if you shop around you can find very good prices. The food is great. Come with the whole family and with plenty of time. Bring the little ones so they can learn about their culture and their people. In a time of online shopping and big retailers, it is a blessing to have places like this still open. Please support your local vendors, you might pay a little more but you will contribute to extending this wonderful experience for future generations. Also, be mindful, these vendors probably were closed during covid but still had to pay for their spaces, so please don't be a lemon.
Delicious food ,excellent service, and affordable.
Love this place!!! All the Mexican Items that are good for gifts and the ingredients that you can buy to make your own food at home. I drive 5 hours to get the delicious drinks
Good spot definitely provides a touch of Mexico my family and I all tried different dishes and they were all amazing bacon wrapped shrimp carne azteca gordita and a filte on mojo de ajo everyone loved the food they also have live performers doing the thing it can get a little loud so it might not be the best place for a meeting but great place for food friends and family
Awesome Mexican snacks but parking WILL be packed, especially on weekends. Walk a little and park outside around the cemetery, you'll thank me later👌 also easily accessible thru metro gold line; Indiana station will leave you one block away and you'll avoid the headache but get yo sweet tooth on
Memories galore. It has been at least 25 years since I visited this place. could use a little bit of upkeep and face-lift other than that I love it.
I was raised in Mexico and was pleasently surprised with the taste and quality becaie this is Perhaps one of the best Mexican Restaurants in California. Their menudo was amazing, and the service was superb. I also enjoyed the live music which was also very good quality.
The one thing that really tops it off, that really drives it home is the price. The price is quite decent for the high quality that you get.
On personal note. It has a very nostalgic vibe to it. It somehow feels like a restaurant that my parents would take me to when I was a child,(except they never did because we were poor.)
Visiting family in Santa Ana and they took us to El Mercadito.
Awesome place to find authentic Mexican items and food.
It's located in East LA, a very poor part of LA.
Not as good as pre pandemic but still interesting. The third floor was closed; so no live music or restaurant food.
Very cute Mexican outle with plenty of places to eat, shop for kick-knacks, and other staples. Parking sucked, but oh-well.
