Review Sushi Yuzu - Los Angeles

Arik Shahumyan
They have the best sashimi in the city and their salmon sashimi with cilantro sauce is a must try! We visited this place almost 5 years ago and then again this year and it just becomes better. Service is top notch and makes your dining experience seamless even if your not a pro sushi eater and its difficult for you to choose smth from the menu.

All in all was good but not the best sushi I had.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. Best sushi restaurant in the Valley.

The combination of flavors that blow up in your mouth it was so delicious. I had the sashimi yellow tail and other sashimi albacore as well

This is one of the best Sushi places I’ve been to in the US. I’m hella picky after living in Japan and this place is legit. Everything was top notch.

I’ve been to some of the best sushi spots in the city and this is my favorite of all of them. Deep fried yellowtail collar is irresistible and the sushi is always fresh and served at the perfect temperature. Chefs are great ppl too! Gets busy so plan accordingly

yUzu Sushi is a fantastic sushi spot that offers a wide range of delicious and fresh options. The fish was incredibly fresh and expertly cut, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The sushi rolls were creative and delicious, with a great balance of flavors and textures. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend yUzu Sushi for anyone looking for a high-quality sushi experience.

The Sushi was super fresh and delicious! I recommend eating at the bar. You'll appreciate the chef's expertise and interaction. Making reservations is recommended because there is limited seating.

Sushi was good. But ask about the caviar before ordering, it was ridiculously expensive. I am not being cheap, we spent over $1000.00 there.

The best sushi in NoHo. Simply outstanding. Got the Belly sampler, Lemon roll, and whole squid. As I finished my meal my only thought is that I couldn’t wait to come back.

Great sushi! A bit pricey but quality is awesome, best I’ve had in LA. I’ll be back!

Nice sushi joint. Good food, service overly attentive. Can't even finish eating, plates taken away as soon as you put yr chopsticks down. Not the place to meet up and spend some time socializing. Just eat and leave.

Excellent sushi at very high quality. The omakase was only $70 for about 11 different selections. That's pretty good for the quality of the fish.

Sometimes you go to a place and walk out knowing you had something special. This is what I feel everytime I leave here. We all have a couple of sushi places that we frequent but this is the place if you want sushi elevated. Yes a little more expensive but worth it. Lemon roll is my absolute favorite! Combination of the garlic oil ponzu and lemon is amazing! Also tried something new this past visit, Uni shooter! Yum Yum.

This is the best sushi experience that I've had in LA, hands down. Do yourself a favor and get the yellow tail ribs!

Super fresh food! Grams and mom ordered non sushi and was delish. We had tried quite a few different rolls, each one more delicious as the past one. So. Good.

I was here for the first time and I was very satisfied!

Great food. Very noisy to try and have a conversation over a meal.
They need to add better noise control.

Everything was served very fast, fresh and delicate flavors . Unique twist to traditional sushi and sashimi. I wish found this place before ,considering I used to live in a area for several years .

Best restaurant in Burbank.

Gen, the owner, is an excellent sushiman with a background in French cooking. This translates into some amazing fusion creations. The sauces used in preparation are just the start of an amazing meal. Don't come in and order what think you want, "ask" what they recommend or just go omakase and let them feed you. Expert attention to fish selection. You'll be surprised by some special selections from time to time. Gen also maintains a nice selection of sake pairings. For desert, ask if the have the yuzu sorbet (nom nom). Prices are well worth the quality. They're busy and tables fill up (the bar is better, IMHO) fast, reservations are taken on tables - the bar is first come, first served. Check your attitude at the door and enjoy a great meal.

Fresh fresh and oh! Fresh!!! rolls were a little plain & pricey but the fish is sooooo freshhhh! Great service as well!

Fish is really fresh here. we honestly havent had anything we disliked here. its a little on the pricey side…$12-20 a roll. however, i do have to note that the rolls are relatively large here.

So here's the deal. If you make a reservation, expect to wait. If you are 5 minutes late on your reservation expected to be put to the back of the list.
But once you sit down to eat, take your time and enjoy the magical foodie experience of Sushi Yuzu.
