When we came there was a line and it took us around 20 min, but the soup is amazing! My friend got the brisket and i got the mixed one they are both so good. I also love their kimchi both cabbage and radish ones they were so fresh and tasty

My wife had told me this place was in a movie and it fell on deaf ears. I thought the neighborhood looked a bit shady and I was hesitant at first, but now I drive 400 miles each way just to have a bowl of the bone soup. Wow wow wow. Mind you I've driven down 4 times and the moment I leave, I crave another bowl of the brisket soup. Every time I've gone down to the shop, I've taken Pictures to post a review but I've purposely forgotten to do so. This place is a 1000000 x must. You have to try it and it must include all the fixings. Go with a Korean person or someone who knows Korean food. Not enough words to express how amazing this place is.

I was in LA for a day and this was my first stop...for breakfast. When you're traveling from the East Coast it works. I can't recall where this place was featured but it stayed on my list of places to try. I went for the mixed Sul Lang Tang - you get all the good bits that freak people out, but they're so good! Little English was spoken while I was there, but the older lady was very kind and cut my kimchi for me with scissors. Broth was clean and I enjoyed the ability to season it to my liking. It was unique and something I'd definitely come back to get next time I'm in town.

We just moved into the neighborhood and had a really tiring weekend. My friend recommended this joint because it’s comforting and honestly, it comforted our souls. My boyfriend mentioned it was comparable to menudo, but like pho too. I thought it was fantastic and definitely worth the hype. The broth comes unsalted, so you salt and chili it to your own taste! I love that considering it comes with rice, I like it a little on the saltier side :-) The service is straightforward and easy! The nice lady took our order, brought it ought with pickles and water, and was on her way to help the next guests. It felt super home-y and that was lovely.

They serve simple beef soup that is popular to locals in the area. The line was 1/2 an hour long, noon Saturday. There is a valet parking at the back but there seems to be ample street parking as well in front. The entrance and line is at the back where the parking lot it..

Specialized spot for Sul Lang Tang. Broth was rich and delicious. Salt and fresh green onions are provided with your soup for you to season to your liking. Comes with kimchi as side dishes. The staff were super friendly. Love this spot!

One of my favorite comfort foods in ktown hands down! I’ve been coming to Han Bat for a good 4 years now and the soup has been delicious. Even featured in the popular tv show “Beef”, I knew I couldn’t go wrong here. I only wish that they could be open for longer now that dine-in hours end at 8:30pm. I highly recommend Han Bat to everyone.

Han Bat Seol Lung Tang is a delightful restaurant that offers a truly authentic and satisfying Korean dining experience. Their specialty, seol lung tang, a rich and flavorful ox bone soup, is simply outstanding. The broth is simmered to perfection, resulting in a comforting and robust flavor that is complemented by tender pieces of beef and a variety of traditional accompaniments. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the cozy ambiance adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Whether you're a fan of Korean cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, Han Bat Seol Lung Tang is a must-visit destination for a memorable dining experience.

Good Sul Lung Tang in the area. It doesn’t taste as good as they used to and the portion decreased but that doesn’t stop me from going back to them. It’s been around since I was in college. Beef brisket is good option.

Two things to order - oxbone soup with meat, or meat with no soup. No frills straightforward spot, prompt service. Your given salt, green onions, kimchi and rice to spruce up your soup because it’s just broth and meat, and not that much brisket. It was $19 + tip for soup with very little brisket. A little overpriced to me. Nice to try the shul lung tang but, wouldn’t go back.
