Brandywine - Los Angeles - Photo album

Charming classic french restaurant. The right amount of old fashion charm while clearly kept up to high standards and modern twists. It’s small and intimate inside with curtains on the booths if you desire extra privacy. The owner walking through the menu is interactive and help with the difficult d
Have been here numerous times over many years and it keeps getting better. There is a reason this is the best restaurant in the Valley. Peggy, Chris and the staff always take care of their guests. With only 10 tables, it is like being invited over to a friend's home. But, the food is the star att
The menu is limited to the very best of options. Escalopes of veal is my go-to, with mashed potatoes that put my mother's to shame. The Caesar dressing is made to order on a side-table in a wooden bowl. The owner pestles (yes, it's a verb, too) the anchovies and whisks the yolk to perfection. Classi
It's not listed but there is a beautiful cut of pork that was so thick and it was cooked perfectly through. The sauce it came with had wild mushrooms that were to die for. That's what my wife chose to eat and I couldn't stop picking from her plate. I had the Australian lobster tail which was seasone
Despite living in the area for years, my wife and I had never even heard of Brandywine but based on the reviews I saw online, we decided to give it a try. And are we glad we did! Owner Chris is old school French, with an accent to match, but a charming and hospitable host. Small portion of gavalax
A very pleasant and intimate experience. 3 appetizers, 2 kir royales, 2 entrees, and 2 glasses of wine $200.00 on the button. The service was personal and incredibly knowledgeable. I loved it, though I can see how someone would say "you either love it or hate it." I give it a top food and servic
The food is undeniably incredible. One of the very very few fine dining restaurants in all of Los Angeles that actually holds food and flavor over trendiness, fashion, or scenes. If you love good food and good food means more to you than any of that, then definitely make some time to stop here. It's
I'm pretty sure the menu is created daily based on what the owner bought that morning. This is for sure a valley gem. Anyone within a 50 mile radius needs to try this place. It's not cheap but worth every penny. Very small place I think probably 12 or 15 seats so make sure you call weeks on advance
The food was delicious, great service, cozy small restaurant so reservations is a must. French food that is tasty with nice portions. The menu list is presented on a board and changes nightly, so there is always something new to try.
I thought Brandywine was a really great restaurant. I had read all of the reviews and it met my expectations based on what I had read from most of the 4 and 5 star reviews. I made a reservation the day before - i left a message and received a call back from Chris a few hours later. When I arrived
