I bought cupcakes yesterday for my birthday which I ordered online. First, the online ordering was super easy and straightforward, and took me under 10 minutes. Second, the order was ready on time and everyone was beyond sweet when we went in. I’m typically not a huge fan of cupcakes but we bought 8 and my whole family enjoyed them. They were so tasty and I cannot recommend them enough, especially the red velvet. This is a really amazing bakery with lovely staff and great products. I’m not from LA but I’ll 100% be back the next time I’m down.

WOW!! This place is amazing!! Tastes perfect, and definitely has the from-scratch taste. You can really taste the vanilla in the frosting, and there is absolutely no nasty fake flavoring. The chocolate is so delicious, and you can taste the cocoa powder. The vanilla is so light and fluffy. I will DEFINITELY be back here. They also have cookies and other sweets, and the staff is very friendly:) love it!

Picked up a small summer berry cake for my daughter's birthday. Was told to keep it in the fridge until it's ready to be served because of the whipped cream frosting. Was a little worried because we were taking it to a picnic and it was a very warm day. Turned out we were worried for no reason, a small part of the cake and some of the strawberries were semi frozen, even though it had been unrefrigerated for a few hours. Also noticed a slight graininess to the filling. Gave 2 stars because my daughter still liked the cake, but for the price I just expected a fresh cake, not one that was previously frozen.
11/27/23. Changing my review from 2 stars to 5. I was given store credit for the cost of the cake which I really appreciated. Finally used it for pumpkin and pecan pie for Thanksgiving, and it was delicious.
I really appreciated the follow up and customer service.

A delicious sugary place for the eyes & palate.
I’m a huge fan of their dairy free fruit crumble squares, flourless chocolate cupcakes, flourless peanut butter cookies + red velvet & tropical coconut (pineapple) cake.
Crossing fingers for more flourless cupcake flavours and some sugar/low-sugar products in the future.
Love that their baking area is transparent so that everyone can observe the hard work they do.

Love every single treat they bake here!
My favorites are the marbled cake and funfetti celebration cakes, and the seasonal cupcakes pink champagne/rosé & blueberry pancake with maple frosting (yum!!), but their chocolate chip cookies and lemon bars are amazing too!!

Had such a great experience at this location. The cupcakes taste amazing and the staff is very friendly. The worker named Valerie was sooooo nice and went above and beyond when helping me. This was my first time ever going to a Susiecakes and I will definitely be back!

We by mistake ordered two birthday cakes for our daughter. One from Susie's Cakes and the other from Hansen's Bakery in LA. The Susie's Celebration cake was lightyears ahead of Hansen's in terms of homemade taste, perfectly delicious icing and so moist...just beyond scrumptious. The Hansen cake (while beautifully decorated) was dry and the icing and filling was so artificial in taste. Susie's Cake was by far the winner!

I've been enjoying SusieCakes' cakes and cupcakes for a couple of years now and they are always delicious!
I recently had a problem with an order, so I called them up to see what could be done. The woman on the phone was extremely courteous and helpful. They resolved my issue and delivered my corrected order within an hour.

I might post 2 reviews so I can give this place 10 stars. We got my birthday cake here this past weekend and the carrot cake is the best cake in Southern California. The cupcakes are also incredible….best I’ve had from coast to coast (#westcoastbestcoast).

My favorite cupcake bakery! The cakes are also good but not as good as the cupcakes... or the cookies which are gigantic by the way. Everyone is always super nice when I come. I’ve done pre-orders multiple times and it’s pretty quick. The pies for thanksgiving are so yummy. Love SusieCakes!

My favorite red velvet cupcakes in LA. OR, you can get a slice of red velvet cake....OR the entire cake. The coconut cake is equally delicious. Molasses cookies are old-fashioned, not too spicy, but so delicious. Everything else looks wonderful, I just get my favorites and rarely try the other flavors and options. They are almost always busy, so everything is fresh.

Haven’t been able to find a better cake/cupcake anywhere so far. Purchased the red velvet slice (2-4 servings) for my birthday and for my SO’s birthday and both times, we ate the whole thing in one sitting both times despite declaring to save some for later.
Makes me feel like a chub chub, but it’s also extremely delicious. This location is convenient if you live in West LA.
