The most delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine! I had the chicken enchiladas with the red sauce and the chicken was so tasty and favorable. And you cannot beat the price of the food as well! The service is fast and efficient. It is a quaint and cute establishment but all the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Always a really good time for some Mexican food. Really good value for the amount and quality of food you get. Never have a bad order here and I can recommend everything here without hesitation.
Also, the drinks that they make are pretty strong. Definitely recommend going with the blended margaritas as they tend to be a bit stronger. Decent happy hour deals as well. I would come here for drinks from time to time.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the US. Food tasted so fresh. Their sauces are so good. I had the Carne Asada which was splendid. Their beans are also fantastic. The atmosphere is very authentic and peaceful. The restaurant itself is pure art. The minute you walk in, you feel at home. Am so sad that I was only in LA on a trip. But I highly recommend this restaurant. Kudos to the chef and the team for such a great establishment.

This one was a great experience I can comfortably say the service does deserve a 5 star our waiter was on point and attentive treated us like kings just loved it, the food was delicious, good quality, and in large quantity. Also loved the old school Mexican vibe Ambiance, restaurant does get crowd after 5 pm so make sure to make a reservation, There is free parking in the back with a security guard with friendly hospitality. A place where you feel welcomed, Enjoy.

Had dinner here as we are staying with a friend nearby (we are on holiday from the UK). First impressions: total neighbourhood place. Wide mix of people in the booths )try for a booth if you can) and the other tables. Had our 14 year old son with us and from the outset the wait staff were amazing with him, joking but also respectful. The service on our visit was faultless. The food is good - it’s rustic Mexican with no real frills but doesn’t disappoint. I had a plate with two tacos which were huge, more like slightly smaller burritos. As other have said the Margaritas are delicious, strong tasting and a bargain. Just came on here to thank everyone in La Barca for such a warm welcome.

This restaurant has really great staff. The food is somewhat good. I've tried the appetizer platter and the guac can use some work. Their table salsa varies in taste with the consistency and flavor not being the same. The colossal burrito is stuffed with lettuce and the red sauce can be a bit salty. I would not order that again. Their shredded beef is yummy and tasteful I prefer it over their asada. Great place to eat at, the atmosphere and decoration makes you feel like you've been transported to a beautiful outdoor Pueblo all while sitting inside.

It’s been a while since I been here and just went all out. I order the Carde Asda plate and my friend order green Chile wet burrito w classic margarita and peach cocktail 🍹 Everything was good and fast. Peach Cocktail was a little sweet.

My granddaughter and I stopped here to have lunch and kill some time. I was surprised, The food was quick and very delicious, what made this stop even more delightful was the customer service. Our waiter was so attentive without being obtrusive. We were never rushed and the atmosphere was relaxing. La Barca unfortunately is not very close to me but I will definitely make this a permanent place to eat when ever I travel down to USC.

Whenever I am in Los Angeles, La Barca is the meeting place for forever and a day friends to catch up. Food is excellent! Service is great and the atmosphere is old world family! It is a family owned restaurant near USC which caters to a diverse crowd.

I've been going here for years getting the El Coloso Burrito. It's by far the biggest burrito I have ever eaten. Much too big to eat in one serving. It's the size of a grown man's forearm. I Love this place!😁

I didn't like the food they have there my girl ask the waiter for some lemons and I was watching him to see how he would grab the and fare enough he grab them with his full hands I don't know where his hands might be either he sneezed or touch something dirty point is you don't grab food etc with open hands at the end of our dinner we ask for the check and I saw that they charged twice the plate that I ordered .. I don't like the environment nor there drinks ... next time I want Mexican food I'll go to Gloria's Mexican restaurant now there food is good and won't hurt your stomach so yea I'll give it a one star rating because what the waiter did was not professional and they added an extra plate on the bill..

Very friendly place. The service was quick. Tried their steak milanesas and it was great. Will come back. The only thing was that it was packed and pretty loud. If you are fine with that then this place is for you.

We have come here throughout the years but yesterday was somewhat disappointing. The michelada tasted more like clamato than anything else. We asked for a plate and specifically asked to make sure it didn't have onions, which the waiter assured us did not & it had so much. It wasnt like it could be picked out, it was diced in the meal. Then we asked to replace it with a shrimp cocktail & you could tell the shrimp still wasn't ready to be served. They charged us for the more expensive plate even though we returned it.
It has gotten more expensive and the quality has deteriorated. Hope they do better in the future.
