I had a great experience at the
Omelet & Waffle Shop in San Pedro.
I went to the restaurant to try
breakfast. When arrived at the
restaurant, they didn't have their own parking lot to park
my car sobI had to park on the street.
They had a patio outside and
I wanted to eat at the patio.

Classic little diner in California. Our Lyft driver recommended this place for breakfast while we were killing time before boarding our cruise ship. It’s a short drive from the harbor.
Basic diner food, but lots of it it, lots of choices. More omelets to choose from
then I could count. I had the chilaquiles since we were in California. The carne asada was ok, nothing to write home about. Probably try chicken if I had had it again. Other than that the sauce was very good. Wife and kids were happy too, can’t remember what they had at the moment.
Diner food is generally the same no matter where you eat. This place had double or triple the menu of most diners. The staff was friendly and the building was classic Americana diner type. It’s worth a look if you are in the area.

Long time patron, first time reviewer—this place is the best and has the nicest atmosphere. The food is always delicious, everyone who works there is very friendly, and the wait (when there is one) is well worth it. I enjoy both their breakfast and lunch menu and think it’s a great place for sitting down with family for a meal, catching up with friends, or having a casual business meet up. Street parking can be a little tight but I think it is easy enough to navigate, just check signs.

Support this local San Pedro gem! Owned by a wonderful local couple, this place is my fav spot for breakfast or brunch in San Pedro. No frills, just delicious food served fresh and fast. They have an extensive omlette menu (2 pages long) and their waffles are made to order. Stop in next time you're in Pedro.

Discovered this amazing restaurant last year. The most amazing food, so far I try something different everytime I eat here and have not been disappointed. Such a big menu, with many great choices. Love the peanut butter and banana waffles.

Omelette and Waffle is a great place to go for breakfast. There are 100 different types of omelettes on the menu, plus other breakfast and lunch items. There is free street parking out front. The restaurant looks like a throwback to the 50s. There is counter seating, tables and chairs, and booths. The place was crowded and busy, but we were seated at a booth right away. The waitresses were outgoing and friendly. We ordered the Grilled Tri-tip Melt with onion rings and the Grilled Roast Beef with French fries. The onion rings are pulverized onion shaped into a ring. They had a weird texture to them since they were pulverized, and felt gummy and undercooked. They were not good at all and I don’t recommend them. The fries are shoestring fries so they get cold quickly. The sandwiches were good. The Grilled Tri-tip sandwich was toasted with chewy bits of tri-tip and melted cheese inside. The sourdough bread was good. The Grilled Roast Beef has a green chile inside. There is a $1.00 charge if you use a credit card to pay your bill. There are signs posted throughout the restaurant so you don’t forget. The waitress doesn’t pick up the bill from your table. You have to take the bill up front to the cashier to pay it. While you are up at the front you can peruse through the assorted logo merchandise they have for sale. It’s all very cute and retro themed. Next time I’ll try an omelette and a waffle.

HEARTY PORTIONS! I had an opportunity a few weeks ago along with family to enjoy breakfast at Omelette & Waffle Shop. The service was good and the environment was homey.
In terms of the food, the portion sizes were hearty , well seasoned and fresh. I enjoyed eating an Omelette breakfast and I was not disappointed. As stated the portion sizes are hearty and I ended up taking my breakfast ho.e to enjoy later for lunch.
I would definitely recommend having a delicious breakfast at the Omelette & Waffle Shop! I will most certainly return again! Bon Appétit!

My mom brought us here, we never heard of the place and we usually try to come here at least once a month. It's a hole in the wall joint but it's nice to have such a huge variety. We are from the island of oahu and it's good to know that they serve local style breakfast in case we are craving it.....We as a family , laugh cause we never know what to get. Lol � but that's the best part their not limited there's something for everyone and the staff is friendly. Food is delicious , it may get cramped in there esp when it's busy but overall one of the best places I've ever eaten at.

The food was not really great. Kind of hard to mess up breakfast. The home-style potatoes were just potatoes that were cooked. I liked the fact that you can customize your omelette but the omelette was dry. Don't think I ever had a dry omelette before. It was so dry I had to ask for salsa to make it better.
The one good part was the service was impeccable.

We have gone here a handful of times and most of the food is good. Today, I asked for the quicky special (3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and sausage) and to add banana to the pancakes. On the menu it says substitutions would occur an additional charge but I had no idea that bananas cost $4.

Haven't been to san pedro in years and we just happen to be staying near this wonderful breakfast place. Super attentive, crowded early but totally worth the wait. When I come back I will be returning.

Saw good reviews on this place so I thought I would check it out. Dirty restaurant, dirty utensils dirty floors. Bacon was dried out. Looked like brown sugar in the container but it turned out to be regular sugar!! What??? Brown regular sugar?? Gross. Priced on the high side. I would not recommend this dive. Diner beware!

Good old fashioned local diner, with a huge menu and chalkboard specials. Breakfast food is pretty standard for for a beach town. But the service is excellent and always attentive.

Move over Guy Fiery, this diner beats your selected Triple D diner down the street. Located in San Pedro, this place is truly a greasy diner. On weekends, the line is out the door and you’re given a menu that has pages and pages of different food items: from 100 versions of omelets to french toast to waffles. <br/><br/>As if the menu isn’t big enough, there’s an additional menu on the wall with their so called “new” breakfast and lunch specialties. I think I spent 15 minutes just reading the wall to narrow down my breakfast choice.

Take it to go!!. Great food, but no integrity in the staff. Ive frequented this place for years and the service has slowly deteriorated. This last visit, a 3 yr old baby was not having a good day and decided to throw his small plate on the ground. The plate broke and because the place wasn't busy at all, it made a loud noise. none out of the 6 employees, which 3 were chit chatting near by, seemed to even notice this. Finally the dishwasher stepped out and picked up the mess. The customer apologized for the incident and the employee kept his silence. The diner felt a bit awkward as the baby continued to cry his lungs out.

Best Breakfast. This is a welcoming fast pace environment. Staff knows you by name (when becoming a regular) gives you shout outs from across the room(just to acknowledge your presence). The food, and combinations of food are memorable and the waffles<br/>( my favorite blueberry) are the best. I Love Omelette & Waffle Shop, best place to chow down. Spinich and mushroom eggwhite omelet was very good. Only complaint was that toast was delivered too early and was room temp and hard when I got my food. Home fries were excellent. Definitely would eat here again

I had the terriyake beef and broccoli omelette and an bacon cheddar jalapeño omelette and it was so good. The waffle was unbelievably good, especially with syrup. If you like savory, sweet foods, you'll love this waffle.

It was okay. I went in on a Monday afternoon around 11. The place wasnt packed, just half full. My friend and I sat down right away to grab a table. We were never greeted, offered a menu, or acknowledge in the 5 mins we waited. I stood up to ask when we would be given menus and even acknowledge that we were there to eat. The menu consist of tons of different breakfast and early lunch item. Finally after 10 additional minutes of being ignored we order. The food was prompt, my waffles were not. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. It pretty much taste like food you can cook at home. The service SUCKED. I would not go back or reccomend this place to anyone.

Good Breakfast Place with a Huge Menu. This was our first time here and it was good. The Coconut Cream Waffles were awesome. They had copious amounts of sweet coconut and were topped with whipped cream. We were on a Hawaiian Pineapple & Coconut Binge today. The Hawaiian French Toast was good; I added the bananas & pecans as an upcharge. The bananas were abundant, but the pecans were missing in action. Still tasty though. The Hawaiian Omelet and Avocado Sour Cream Bacon were pretty good, not great for a place known for its omelets. The Banana Nut Waffles were good. We all Loved the Coconut Pineapple Waffles! They had lots of coconut and many chunks of pineapple. Over all this was a nice first visit…I will be back.
