I'd say the only problem I had with the dishes here was the overwhelming, overpowering usage of cloves. The ambiance (we ate outside) was exactly what you'd expect. I'd mistakenly ordered the Bread pudding for first time and I'll be making that mistake again & again!
When I travel by train to Los Angeles, this is one place I like to eat. It's just a short walk from Los Angeles Union Station. They have a pretty decent menu and the service has always been good.
Don't good BBQ in Chinatown? You bet. They have a good tap selection of beers also, but it was lunchtime so I didn't have any.

Delicious BbQ food with unique spices and very fresh preparation, well paired with items like vinegar cole slaw or fire roasted vegetables with a great beer selection on tap. Stumbled in by accident looking for another place, and glad to have done so--will definitely go back!
