We had such an amazing time, food was absolutely delicious. Spent 3 hours eating, drinking and laughing. The service was above and beyond. The Manager came to our table and introduced himself, made us feel like VIP customers. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again soon.

Absolutely love this place. My sorority had an event there today and it was my first time coming to this restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed on the atmosphere, attentive and courteous staff, and amazing food. I will definitely come back again. And they give a 20% discount to faculty from UCLA!!!

Had a great evening with my lady here. Super cool neighborhood spot. We enjoyed the lasagna, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, a meat lovers pizza and a few tasty cocktails. From what I understand the spot is under new management. Tony, kudos to you for creating such an inviting atmosphere, great food, and a great time. Perfect for a night out, or a few drinks at the bar with or without friends.

We were there Friday night service was excellent. We tried some of the appetizers. They were delicious. Always a good time when we go there. Staff is polite and friendly. The owner will occasionally come out and ask you. How was the meal ? It’s always nice to have an owner take interest.

There were 6 of us and we had a late reservation but the restaurant was very accommodating. We were the last diners of the night but never felt rushed. Enjoyed the lasagna, branzino, arugula salad, fettuccine alfredo, and happy to see Susan's salad still on the menu! Our server was very sweet, but seemed new to serving. A few hiccups like entrées coming out before app plates being cleared and handing us the wine opener to open the wine that we brought! Just need some staff training, which is why not giving 5 stars, but we will be back!

What a hidden gem! I recommend sitting at the bar and enjoying a great cocktail with friendly entertaining service. The food is fantastic as well! 5 stars is an understatement for how good Umberto’s really is.

Two friends planned a private party for us in the upstairs private room. It was fabulous! Great food, braised short rib burgers were amazing as was the veggie egg roll and peanut chicken. Servers were very kind and attentive. I'm allergic to fish and seafood so they stayed away from me with those and came directly to me with the other foods. So thoughtful!!!

They had a clearly marked vegan appetizer, salad, and entree. The staff was very kind and attentive. But the desert menu wasn't marked for vegan options, and having already told my waiter that I was vegan, I would have appreciated it if he had either apologized for lack of vegan desert options or been forthcoming about the sorbet off menu. As it was I had to ask. But they gave us chocolate covered strawberries and a beautiful long stemmed Rose for our Valentine's day meal. And the food was simply amazing! Will go back!!

Simple, elegant, and "green rated". Delicious food! But just Average cappuccino. Wonderful accommodating service. The waiter and kitchen modified my dish to accommodate my dietary needs. My friend and i were there 3 hours. I can't think of the last time I was so relaxed and comfortable at a restaurant, that the conversation and tea continued to flow.

First time there and what a hidden (in plan site right off the 405) gem this place is. It has it all...cute bar...comfortable dinning room and even an event room at the top of an all glass stairway...too cool! All around the place is art work in all forms from local artists...so you have some great stuff to look at while you eat. Must try the lobster Cobb salad and Nieman ranch beef. They make a red velvet ring ding( even has the foil wrapper) that is to die for. Yummy!

Food was good- service fine as well- unfortunately the look and feel of the place (post-renovations) makes it feel like an upscale Denneys inside. Bummer. They could've used a decorator. The light wood and cork walls seem so much less inviting that the old dark, clubby feeling. Not sure we'll be back- maybe for brunch?

Our favorite escape. Stuck in traffic on the 405? Jump off at Moraga Dr, just north of Sunset and relax at the newly reopened Bel Ari Bar and Grill. We're regulars there, since it's close to home. We love the menu, especially the Boullabaise, ribs and the soups. It's finally reopened after an 18 month remodel. It was well worth the wait. A very friendly clientele and wait staff make for a lovely dining experience. Happy hour is great too. Try the hamburger or the green lipped mussels. Outstanding!
