The area was very busy and so was this place (and when I say busy almost no tables free) Our waiter managed to seat 3 parties and then us with only 2 people for wait staff. He brought us menus very fast, took our order and brought it for out very fast. I worked for 10 years as a waiter in Greece and know when I see efficient wait staff. He is what waiters should be like. And the food was excellent.
Great food and great service make for a great experience. Definitely worth checking out.
We were in the little Tokyo to walk around and we found this small and nice place to have lunch. We came in during the lunch hours , and this place was nearly packed. Customers were seated in and outdoor the restaurant. It was small but looked very warm and cozy. They have a menu for lunch special and they looked very delicious. I ordered one of their new dish which was spicy Miso soup which had sautéed bamboo, dumplings and bean sprouts. The broth was kind of different. I could give the whole thing a B - , it didn’t have anything special like woah when you tasted it. Beside the main dish they also provided a small salad bowl with your meal. My daughter ordered the lunch special which had three items for $12.98 which was not bad. Overall, this place service was friendly and prompt. They also have sushi and served wine. I should try some of it next time.
Was good! Convenient for us, we were seated quickly and our food arrived just as fast. Only thing I can comment on was our food was way too hot right away, but it tasted very good and I’m full!
I have to say, the food was great. They had great ramen, really good sushi 🍣 and good miso soup. I would recommend this place to friends. There is one point of improvement and that is that my friend who was eating here with me found some paper in his steak, strangely enough. This wasn't a big deal however as they were genuinly sorry and offered a free steak , would still reccoment highly 👍👍👍
There was also ice tea green tea, which was not that sweet and rather nice.
The sushi was pretty good but the ramen was amazing. It was pretty cold outside when we went so it was perfect to eat that night. Good service and the place is nice. $10 for the ramen and $5 for the roll.
3 items for 1 price? Um, yes please!
This place sat in the heart of Little Tokyo in Los Angeles and we passed by and decided to drop in and grab some lunch. We were not disappointed as their menu was a 3 items for 1 price, it was a deal! I ordered udon, spicy salmon and salmon bowl. It also comes with miso and salad! It's almost never-ending! I was full and I was a happy person when I left so it was good. Right next to it is an ice-cream shop which you know I took full advantage of as well.
First time in the area had lunch while on business and it turned out to be a Great choose for a sushi lunch the prices were reasonable and service was fast and staff was friendly and helpful.
Had a late lunch there and I loved the quick turnaround, reasonable pricing and good variety from the selection menu. Good quality unagi on rice, and appetizer size hamachi sashimi. Will return and highly recommend.
Delicious food and excellent service. Have been going to Kagura in Little Tokyo for years. Now that I live in DTLA I do take out at least once a week. Looking forward to outdoor dining again and full service in the near future. In the meantime, check out Kagura. You won't be disappointed.
Sushi was fresh, ramen soup was excellent, and fried pork rolls were amazing. A+++!
