Review Spire 73 - Los Angeles

Spire 73 is a wonderful place to go for a date night. You get a wonderful view of the city, you can cozy up next to the fire if you request for one of those tables, you can even snuggle up on one of the sofas that they have there that’s not in the dining section. This place is also good for meeting up with friends. The music is very lively; there’s plenty people around so you can socialize. I would suggest if you’re nearby to Uber to the place otherwise you’ll have to deal with parking in downtown LA. The food is pretty pricey and it’s just above mediocre. The cocktails are pretty good though. It goes without saying if you go on a Friday or Saturday night it will be pretty crowded. There is an $80 minimum per person which I totally ignored especially if you made the reservation. Not to mention they will charge you for canceling your reservation for too short of a notice. Knock it off and stop being ridiculous. Overall it’s a cool place I wouldn’t mind coming back to check it out during the daytime. Personally I wouldn’t make this my go to place because again it is overpriced and I’ve had better food at other places so it’s up to you. Sorry I couldn’t remember the cocktail names.

I didn’t get any food from this lace but the few food options I did see looked really good. I choose this place for the atmosphere, drinks, and view of LA skyline at night and believe me it did not disappoint! Views of DTLA were magnificent! The drinks were on the expensive side but definitely worth it. The fire pit setup and heaters to keep guest warm on LA chili nights were perfect! Will be back.

I’m not sure if this place has a specific area to self park. When we arrived it was closed and had to do the Valet it was $16. There’s a two diff elevators you need to take to get up there. It’s a “$60 per person requirement”. The views are nice. I got a few drinks and didn’t like any of them probably just picked the wrong ones. The waiter I think was Jamie, he was awesome and made the entire experience better, super cool guy.

Spire 73 is on the 73rd floor of intercontinental building. It has a breathtaking view of downtown LA and could be ranked amongst the rooftops with the best view around the world. It gets pretty cold at night when you’re that high., Spire 73 has heaters with live fire in place to accommodate. We arrived late, we were 3 of us. Food was served pretty fast but to get a waiter to us was an uncomfortable long wait! The waiters are not really available and they will keep you’re credit card for whatsoever reason (in our case she kept the card and then started looking for it left and right) service isn’t that good but the do charge you a 20% tip (which they say is expected)

The almost 20 minute wait to sit down when we arrived with a reservation AND there were tables available was ridiculous. The hostess left a LOT to be desired. However, the waiter, Patrick, was phenomenal and made up for what was lacking when we entered. ALL the food was delicious. My 15 year old, with a VERY limited palate, gave the burger a great review. Wings are a MUST (got them with sauce on the side) and the steak was superb. NOT inexpensive (4 people over $550). Beautiful view. Would be 5 stars for atmosphere except for the temperature. The heaters did not do much at all and they charge $15 for a blanket.

Beautiful rooftop spot, I believe one of the highest buildings in the world. Right in downtown LA, great food and drinks. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I recommend visiting at night to get the full experience and city view. Love it!

This place is outstanding as there is no comparable place like this in Los Angeles. You have a minimum serving about 60$ per person, which I haven’t saw during the reservation. I checked many times, but ok. Most of the beers they have on the Menü are not available. The cocktails are expensive and full of ice. Taste was ok, but nothing special. The food was ok too. The sweet and sour shrimps are a huge portion and recommendable. The cheesecake for 15$ wasn’t the money worth. At the end they charged us incorrectly as well and told us that the price of the other stuff, they put on the receipt, is the same price, which was not the truth. Overall really overpriced stuff, but you have a good view. You can choose if this is it worth. Our personal highlight was the LAPD helicopter ,,show“. They came pretty close and then did a nosedive to the city center. I firstly got shocked, but it was crazy. But this has nothing to do with the bar.

It really was a great experience. We had a delicious wagyu burger. It was worth the prize. Next time in Los Angeles we‘ll surely come back.

We had an Awesome time at Spire 73. The food & drinks were good (the Short Ribs and Blackberry Side Car are highly recommended). The ambience was good. The view was spectacular. But, our server Patrick was Great! Patrick was very attentive to our needs and even brought us blankets to keep warm. Thanks Patrick!

If you are not afraid of height and crazy for beautiful set up, this is for you. Must order atleast 60$ each person so worth it, validated 2 h parking. Pls look for Eunice.

Greta place. It’s very expensive, and feels a bit more exclusive than it actually is. The views though are unbeatable. It’s a place if you live in LA you need to see at least once to appreciate and say you’ve done it. The service is great- as it should be with a place like this.

I may be a little biased because I had my first date with husband here…so fair warning. This place is breathtaking. From walking into the hotel, going up the elevator and walking into such a beautiful place with views of the city like you’ve never seen before. I definitely recommend coming during sunset to watch the city light up. It’s truly magical. Their food and drinks are great, but you are really here for the views and ambience. There is plenty of seating and everyone is friendly.

The food was absolutely incredible, the environment was fun and the view was so mind blowing. It was awesome. The food is so worth the price.

Boyfriend and I went yesterday to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary, and I have to say WOOOOW!!! the view was breathtaking, absolutely worth the drive. When you arrive at the parking structure, the restaurant is across the building, and you take a flight of electors. Don't hesitate to ask where the restaurant is located. It tends to be confusing. They do require you to spend $60 per person, I recommend ordering the Bangkok crispy shrimp appetizer its to die! Food and drinks do not take long to come out at all !!! They do offer complimentary blankets, I say get them because it does get a bit chilly up there. I also recommend you making a reservation. A special shout out and a million thanks to our server Jaime !!! You made this anniversary dinner date to remember, with your great customer service and always coming to check up on us with a smile on your face. You truly are a great soul, thank you again ❤️
