Jitlada Restaurant - Los Angeles - Photo album

Finally made it to Jitlada, and boy was it worth the wait! Fair warning for anyone, Southern Thai food is inherently spicy, so be prepared for it, and ask clearly if they can make it milder for you. The jungle curry is NO joke. Crying Tiger, and the Crab Fried Rice are must try!
As Guy F. says in the poster affixed to the first window, this place is the real deal! There is a certain depth of flavor that you can only experience in places that have a long and inspired history to complement an equally rich and diverse culture. Every single dish I've had here gave me a new cu
If you're coming for the heat, ask the server which part of the menu to order from! Otherwise, don’t freak out the spice won’t git you. This is an incredible (for others maybe overwhelming) menu with dishes we had never seen anywhere else. We made sure to try both the classics and things we hadn’t t
We had dinner on what seemed to be the worst night to do this since they had a wedding booked and everyone was kindly informed about the extended wait. We rolled the dice and got lucky ! They immediately brought out tables & chairs to sit and what a great idea on such a lovely evening . Then it just
This place was pretty good but small. I liked their Lamb Green Curry and Crab Fried Rice best, but their service was not very good and their prices were very high.
Super tiny strip mall restaurant means parking spaces are at a premium but once inside the food is pretty spectacular. Be prepared for spicy food as the kitchen is very authentic (according to my Thai friends) but it is well worth it. Highly recommend the fried sea bass with fish sauce.
Not so fancy sites from outside view but are really popular even among influencers and super stars. Garlic Tiger shrimp is large and in great taste. Crying Tiger is the beef tender with special sauce more like a tasty snack. The Phad Thai seafood has a sour taste with the sauce and including differe
Best Thai food I’ve had. We got the real chilli dishes, it was very delicious AND nice-spicy. Service was good, we did order rice with our dishes, and wanted to add more rice, they gave us some for free, which was very nice of them. Drinks and dessert were also great. The only thing might be the it
What an amazing place! I had this saved in my list of places to go and we were in the area so decided to stop in. Already knew it was going to be good when we walked in and the place just smelled amazing; the perfect combination of spice in the air. Asked the server for recommendations and got the C
The reason why we stopped here was because of the YouTube channel and their recommendation on this place. It was a Saturday evening so you can expect some waiting time and I think it was about 30min wait. The food is delicious, it's true Thai cuisine and it tasted literally the same compared when we
Hand down one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Absolutely amazing Thai dishes from a restaurant that's been around longer than most of their customers! Reasonably prices and friendly staff. They have an expansive and somewhat intimidating menu with over 180 items, but I'm certain that w
Food here is amazing. Giant menu to choose from that can be intimidating to look at, but each item we ordered tasted great. Got the jitlada fried rice and it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. You have to write your name and party size down at the waiting list in the front. Waited approx
After watching Jazz on Netflix, we had to make this a must go dining spot when in LA. We got there around 5:30pm and it wasn’t busy. By 7pm though, completely packed so go early! I’ll start with the best - crispy morning glory and the green curry. So so so good and a must have when you go. Ok items
Really amazing Thai food! Everything we ordered was so tasty, but the yellow curry was SO GOOD. I have no idea what they did to the potatoes in it but my friends and I were in awe, probably some of the best potatoes I've had. They were so soft and buttery and honestly if I wasn't so full I would've
I like the ‘make your own curry’ jungle curry with coconut meat and fish. When I go with other people I’ll try different stuff but this is always my go-to. I recommend it. It sits right on that line between adventurous and still not too risky (like getting the frog legs might be too risky for someon
The food here is definitely close to the ones in Thailand. However, I am not sure the food is worth the price. I agree that their flavors are standard and they also serve less common but iconic Thai dishes like fried fish with mango salad. However, their flavors don’t hit the spot like I expected wi
I visited two times before writing reviews! The first time, we (my friend and I) got seated fast, maybe depending on the arrival time. Great food, good service (check on us occasionally), but hard to reach them sometimes since the restaurant is busy, and I enjoyed the new experiences! The second ti
