Good spot in Little Tokyo for Japanese food. Happy hour is great, too!!
Great experience with this place. I'd definitely come back if ever back in Little Tokyo. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was excellent. The broth had a terrific flavor and it was just spicy enough. The meat in it had great texture also. The noodles were nice and thick and absorbed all of the fl
The gyoza was excellent. The beef udon noodles were very good. The service wasn’t the best, but very friendly.
Came in as we saw the Happy Hour Poster on front of the door. Was not disappointed and enjoyed the experience very much. Under 5$ drafts of Japenese Beer - what is not to love. The cocktails were very sugary, and alcohol (which I would assume is sake or sochu) was not that high in volume compared to
It’s one of the late open (after 10pm) restaurants in little Tokyo. So we chose this one for the dinner after our show. A little busy in that hour but luckily we got the table very fast. The menu is big and a lot of choices. The waiter was very nice and friendly. We ordered the special don with spic
Highly recommend this restaurant if one is craving a tasty bowl of Ramen. Service is also very good.
Loved this place! I got the hamburg steak, mashed potatoes, and green tea ice cream. All were excellent. The staff there were so friendly it made the experience even better. Definitely stop by!
Oh how I wish Portland had a place like this that was open late. This casual late night Izakaya was exactly what I needed at the end of my night. The sushi, onigiri, and natto were delicious and the tea hit the spot as well! I will probably be back before going back to Portland at the end of this w
The food was kinda salty. The same seemed expensive compared to the prices of everything else. The menu is large, but not unwieldy. They had a little bit of almost everything. The staff was nice. As far as dates, this is not the place you bring someone to wow them; this is a place you bring the peop
Two sisters - Junko and Yuriko - opened Suehiro Cafe in 1972, making it one of the oldest establishments in Little Tokyo. Their 2nd street location has some modern seating but still pays homage to that history. My food tour - Big Eats in Little Tokyo on Airbnb - doesn't include this place but I al
Great prices, prompt service, authentic atmosphere. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen, curry udon and hot soba noodles. Everyone loved their order and I would definitely come back!
I've been going to this place for 30 years always good quality of food. Try the house special with eggplant and meat, it's the only place in LA where you can get that dish.
The food was delicious. We had the sukiyaki which could have fed both of us and also the unagi don which was great as well. Super friendly and attentive staff. Great green tea cheesecake too 🍰
The food is on point with an extensive menu. Try the pork Ramen. Not made for large parties
Very delicious Ramen. The pork is so tender and the broth is sooooooo good. Top 3 ramen places in LA. If you love ramen this is definitely the place to try. The gyoza was okay but the ramen was delicious!
Love Suèhiro (soo eh hee roh), the Denny's of Little Tōkyō in DTLA. Down home, unpretentious, it stays open until 1am and 3am on Fridays & Saturdays. It's affordable, comfort Japanese food, not highend dining. Their Okonomi/"likable" plate is my favorite. You chose one from 3 groups. I like TonkAts
