Great food, drinks, warm & welcoming service, and great prices! Having been a big fan of Brooke on TC and already loving Playa Provisions, this was an unexpected treat before sending a friend back to the frozen tundra of Chicago via LAX. The antipasto options are delicious and extremely generous portions for the pricing. We started with bloody beers (a tasty michelada hybrid of sorts) and a 3 antipasto option of chimichurri shrimp; fried gigante beans; and a chunk of Pt Reyes blue smothered in chestnut honey. Yum! Then we split the toast and the farro Bowl. The carrot salad came instead, by accident, and the server insisted we try it gratis...it was possiblyy favorite dish of the day, so thank you for that! Everything is made with an attention to detail and was just a fantastic surprise. This is hardly just bar food. I will definitely be back and also want to try Bacari now too! Bravo, Brooke!!

Perhaps the Best Burgers in LA!!! There’s heavy competition for the Best Burger crown but The Tripel delivers time & time again! Top level burgers, high quality meats, and the perfect flavor profiles. For example, the House Apricot Jam on the Tripel Burger is a move of genius!! Also love that the burgers are paired with side salads, which work as a great palate refresher between bites of the decadent burgers. Staff are always helpful and in a good mood, it’s a cozy neighborhood place with great beers on tap! Chef Brooke Williamson always delivers thoughtful and delicious food, highly recommended!

Great drink list and crazy good food. Small plates meant to be shared. The place is small and the wait is long, but go on a Tuesday night and you are in luck. You can go wrong with the Beer and burgers here. No matter what you drink (craft beer, cocktail or wine) don't pass on the sweet potato tots and squid ink spaghetti with shrimp to go with it.

This picture is the Tripel burger (on a pretzel bun). It was fantastic. Seriously good. I was visiting LA and if I come back, I'm getting another. It comes with salad instead of fries, so you'll want an order of the garlic fries to share. Who puts apricot jam on burgers? Me from now on. Definitely good.

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely selection of craft beers and wines. A great food menu and friendly staff. If you appreciate beer and wine in a carefully curated but no pretentious space, then this is the place for you.

The squid ink pasta is my favorite dish; delightful spicy citrus flavors with ground shrimp on top, yum! The garlic shoestring fries are a must. All the other dishes are very tasty too though, it is hard to go wrong. Great beer selection, something for every type of beer drinker and wine as well... The tables are communal and the place is small. There will be a wait on the weekends but weekdays are pretty chill.

This place has AMAZING burgers! I tried Playa Provisions down the road from this place the other week, and loved Brooke Williamson on Top Chef, so I knew I had to try out her other spot down the road as well, which is why I came here! It has a gastropub vibe, with a counter and bar, as well as communal tables on each side of the bar. There's a lot of dark colors inside, and I really enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere. Despite the communal seating, there was ample room and it was very comfortable to eat there. We ordered the Tripel burger and the breakfast burrito that they offer for brunch on the weekends, and I was blown away by both! The burrito was absolutely delicious, especially with the green sauce/salsa that is provided with it! The burger as well was incredibly appetizing and incredible, and HUGE as well! Neither of us could finish the whole thing, even though we were both hungry and thought that it was amazing! By far one of the best burgers that I have ever had! I'm very pleased with this place! Brooke was amazing on Top Chef, and I'm happy and unsurprised to find that both of her restaurants in Playa Del Rey are amazing as well! I loved coming here and will definitely be back the next time I'm having burger cravings!

If I could give more stars, I totally would. Best burger(tripel )ever in my 40 years of life! Came with a great light citrus vinaigrette salad. Also got the clams and mussels. Yummmm. Hearty bread, clean seafood. Hands down the best thing we’ve eaten on our trip.

Definitely one of my favs in LA. Sort of hard to find but totally worth it. Great muscles, birger and sliced meat. Also tots!! Curated beers are solid and always include nearby ES brew. Love it.

A classic in Playa. Same owner as Playa Provisions. Their burgers are very tasty as well as their plates. Good selection of beers. They serve coffee during brunch but limited styles.

Had the Pretzel Burger medium rare, fries and the Rose Cava. A delicious lunch! Can't wait to return and try something else.
