A surprise experience in Universal City. We were hungry after a long day in the park, and we were searching desperately for a vegan option. After checking in to Blaze Pizza, I found out that they had vegan cheese (instant win).
Blaze Pizza allows you to easily choose the toppings for your own personal-sized pizza before they slide it into the fire brick oven. The process takes around fifteen minutes from start to finish, and the results are great!
The outdoor seating is convenient and comfortable. The staff is friendly and personable. Blaze Pizza is an awesome experience overall!
Pretty good food option. I ate the bbq chicken pizza which wasn’t too bad. The price was very fair for the city walk. With that said, there was a bit of a wait to get our food. Overall, the restaurant was clean, wait staff nice, and food good. I would recommend.
$10 for a build your own pizza of good quality that’s made fast with no limit on how many toppings you can add (for the most part)? Yeah, I dig that. So I went in real fast, made myself a bbq chicken with pineapple and bacon and was happy as a clam. Parking sucks since it’s $25 to park anywhere next door but if you can walk it’s great. Staff are courteous and professional, and the selection of craft beers was a huge plus for me, as a beer connoisseur.

They offer some great vegan options and provide a quick filling meal when you're not feeling anything else on citywalk. I'm very happy they offer vegan cheese and their vegetable toppings are impressive. two types of olives, two types of garlic.
We have a blaze pizza in the bay area as well. It was a little crowded but what do you expect, all blaze pizza I've been to have a little wait time. Service was great and the places was clean.
Quality pizzas are made quickly here. You can watch the whole process, and customise your pizza as you like. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Build your own pizza is the way to go, friendly staff and quick service!!! Thanks
Blaze Pizza was a good stop, it can be a little chaotic with how many people are inside and the noise but the employees were great and did their best with what they could do.
On 8/10 I went with a couple of friends to Blaze at around 9 pm after Universal. After receiving my order, the person making my pizza, Kevin, was super friendly and patient. He made my experience super awesome and made sure my pizza was exactly the way I wanted it. Thus, I will be sure to stop by that Blaze again. Amazing customer service, and super happy with my pizza as well.
Food was good - they were definitely overwhelmed when I was there so I don't knock them for the wait for the pizza.
The person who checked me out (receipt said "Mifahela M. 3879" was probably one of the rudest people I've encountered in the service industry. I don't blame people for being stressed given the situation.. but there's a difference between that and how terrible her attitude was. I hope she finds work somewhere she can be less unhappy at.
