Small but decent taco shop. There's seating inside and out for those wanting to sit outside.
What I liked most was the simple menu. Either fish or shrimp taco. You put what you want or don't want on it at the fresh salsa bar.
I will have to say the shrimp was delicious and had good flavor. The fish on the other hand wasn't so good. It was mushy and had no flavor at all.

Small place. Very simple, not overloaded with random food variations. Fish tacos are good, as well as for the potato tacos. You get to add sauces and other options to your liking. Wish they did have a crunchy taco option. Maybe they did, but I didn't ask. Overall, it was a great service, and I'm glad everything is made fresh. The Aguas frescas( fresh waters) are refreshing and balanced with added sweetness. Great place to dine. Affordable, too.

Super Friendly Staff + Good Music!!
It’s Thursday afternoon in July! Super warm in LA. Fish tacos are on my mind! Walked in, ordered, and within a few minutes my tacos came!! Lemonade was nice for just a dollar! The staff were super friendly and smiling. I’d repeat.

Extremely worth it for the money. I have a pretty big appetite and 6 fish tacos only costs $18 and always leaves me stuffed. Most people can probably get by with 3-4 tacos.
You get to pick your own salsas and sauces. If anyone writes reviews about the tacos being bland it’s because they don’t know how to build a good taco.
Chill atmosphere, they always play great music.
Highly recommend you eat there for the best/freshest experience

I got a Groupon for tacos (great deal) the service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing and kind of on the funky side mixed together. The tacos were ready in a couple of minutes but had a funny aftertaste, gave me the impression that they might have been using old oil but didn’t question. The salsa made up for it. I would totally go back.

Simple but effective menu! Great prices for fish, shrimp and drinks. Really good food! Love the condiments they offer from different sauces. There is indoor ans outdoors for dinning. All street parking.

One of the best fish tacos I’ve had, true to its name. Decent price too.
Tacos are provided bare, with a counter of unlimited toppings so you can choose your sauces and put as much or as little salsa, radish on top as you want.
The shrimp tacos is also very good.

Such a cozy, cute little place to try out some delicious tacos. We had fish and shrimp taco. Tried cactus tortilla as well which is generally have with mashed potato. Everything was in a reasonable price. Lemonade was $1 per glass.
The owner was very friendly.

I’m usually skeptical of restaurants with “best” or other descriptions in their name lol this taco shack has the best fish tacos—for real.
The fish was perfectly fried—crispy on the outside & moist and flaky on the inside. The shrimp had the right amount of firmness and crispy edges. High quality shrimp and fish were used. Fresh and flavorful salsas.
Customer service was great.
Prices were reasonable.
Parking was easy.
I went for comedy night which occurs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. The comics were funny and professional! There was a big name actor doing standup.

Always hits the spot. The fish tacos really are fantastic, but in my opinion, the shrimp tacos are phenomenal, especially with some fresh salsa, crema, and cabbage on top!

Charming owner and little place with a very limited menu. The fish tacos are fantastic. For a quick snack or a very simple meal, I highly recommend.
It's much better eaten on-site, but if you have a short drive, it's doable. If it's your first time, eat onsite for the best experience.

Pap taco was good. Unfortunately didn’t have the chance to eat fish taco (their specialty) because it was mixed with shrimp (be aware).

The place is super unassuming. We thought it wasn’t even open at first but when we tasted those tacos…which were freshly made in front of us. Wow. I went back twice within a week. The fresh toppings really take it to the next level. The crema and the spicy salsa are my favorite.
The drinks are a little on the sweet side so not personally my taste so I just use that money to buy more tacos. 😆 Potato, fish, whatever you will leave wanting more. (There’s a reason I have no photos of the tacos, I was too busy eating them. 🤷🏽♀️😄)

Love how they’re always fresh, flavorful, and cheap. I got 2 fish, 1 shrimp + hibiscus drink. Never not satisfying. Don’t skip the salsa/topping bar. Been one of my favorite taco spots for 10+ years now.

My family loves this place! They always make the tacos fresh and after four years of coming here almost on a monthly basis, we've NEVER had a bad one in the batch. It's a super casual joint that's definitely got a beachy feel (ocean-themed surfboards and shoreline paintings grace the walls) and they pump great music inside as well as in the cool tiki-like patio setup outside. They've had some of the same employees for a while; they're all super nice, and the guy who owns the place is just the biggest big bear of a sweetheart. I've seen this place get packed and the staff never seems stressed out and they are quick about getting those tacos out nice and fresh. You won't be stressed out even if you are waiting for your food because the vibe here is so relaxed and the music so good, you'll enjoy passing the time. And the tacos are definitely worth the wait.

I always get fish tacos, but the also have some of the best potato tacos in town! Lots of tourists ask where to eat nearby and I always suggest this place

Sadly, my expectations were not met here. The best fish taco in Ensenada, B.C., MX is at Tacos el Chopipo on Diamante next to the McDonalds, in town, away from the Ensenada fish market. This place does not taste anything like it.

Best experience here yet! Rough..long day. Stopped to grab some tacos before heading home...planned to eat in the car while I drove but then...there was Joseph. Such a sweet heart..comped my tacos and asked me to sit and enjoy them as his guest! I took his advice and got a much needed time out :-) Love this place even more now!
