Review Rossoblu - Los Angeles

This was an amazing experience all around! The staff were wonderful, engaging and had recommendations. The food was exquisite and portions aren’t huge, so it was easy to try many different options. My favorite was the tortellini in cream, but the butternut squash pasta was a very close second. The pumpkin olive oil cake and tiramisu were the best, and the affogato was perfect. The cocktails and wine were very good.

The foods are tasty and the service is awesome. I like their chicken. The meat was cooked perfectly. Their pizza were amazing too. The lobster risotto has a very strong flavor of the green peas, which isn’t something I expected. The restaurant decoration is nice and bright.

Went there for my birthday and it was amazing. It was a custom menu for us and everything from the steak to the cake was amazing. Will definitely go back the next time we're in LA.

I had an amazing experience at Rossoblu in DTLA! The hostess was incredibly welcoming, and our server was outstanding. The food was delicious, and I can't wait to return. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Amazing service and food. Not a big fan of the homeless near this spot so be aware when driving and valet parking is $14. The Michelin star is very well deserved.

A great dinning experience where the food keeps coming and you just want more! We found this place when we were traveling and thankfully we found it. The atmosphere is a casual sit down and the menu is reasonably priced while extensive. They brought out bread which was delicious and we ordered wine and a drink to start off with. We moved onto the first entrees of pasta and meat dishes. We also ordered desert and desert wine. Delicious for each and every bite! Their prices were cheaper then some other places we’ve been. The service was amazing, attentive and had plenty of recommendations thru out the evening. Highly recommend that you check this place out. It’s almost a hidden spot since its hidden between a few food places. They also offer pasta classes if you are into that!

Don't worry, you haven't made a wrong turn! Great vibe in a very unsuspecting area. Came with a group so I was able to try a multitude of options on the menu, too. Standouts were: Focaccia, Pizza, burrata salad, and pistachio milk cake. They also have a nice wine selection and decent cocktail list, and a small but good selection of bourbon (according to the bourbon drinkers I was with). They keep the patio nice and warm with heaters if it gets cooler in the evenings but they do have an indoor area too.

Excellent place for weekend or everyday dining, food is wonderful, very good experience always. Been here a few times, always enjoy it. Coming back for happy hour

I love vibes, I love amazing quality food, I love alcohol, and I freaking love amazing service. Sadly didn't make a reservation but no worries I was not going to leave empty handed. They gave us an amazing bar experience. We had an amazing bartender, Noah thank you for keeping us entertained and taking us on a drinking journey. This place hit all the right spots. JUST GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS!

FANTASTIC dining experience. Great ambiance in a trendy warehouse-type setting. Absolutely great service. Delicious food. The focaccia, simple as it may seem, was a stand out. Dessert is not to be missed! The fior di latte gelato was especially good.

Came here on a Saturday night, same day reservation. Bread and salad were solid! Pasta was okay. Do not recommend the broth with cheese cubes. Bread and dip combo might have need the best I've had. Loved the anchovy butter. Very good spread for bread. It was soft and crispy on the outside. Salad had a big portion. Anchovy vinaigrette also delicious and flavorful. Not sure what the deal was with the broth but it was basically bland chicken stock with salty cheese cubes. The agnolotti was very dry on the inside. The signature tagliatelle was just okay, nothing spectacular. Overall, was okay. Don't think I would come here again. Everything started off good. Service was fast and openers were great. The. Everything slowed down.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now and was so happy I was able to check it off my list. We arrived for an early dinner so the restaurant was pretty empty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The entrance is in a tent leading to a beautifully decorated restaurant. We shared the seafood fritto misto, tartare and duck orecchiette. Everything we ordered was perfect. The fritto misto was light, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The orecchiette was so flavorful with a generous amount of ground duck meat, the pasta is ear shaped and was dense without being too heavy. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly and overheard many people talking about how they loved the food and I totally agree. What a wonderful meal!

I'm definitely bookmarking this as a place to impress. After almost driving into a building (thanks Tesla map), we realized the restaurant is actually the building in front. We valet our car for $12, excluding tip, and head inside. I would not recommend parking on the streets. We weren't sure which area is the restaurant but it's the one to the right. Or maybe the whole area belongs to the restaurant. The drink menu looks interesting enough for cocktail lovers. We were a big group and everybody said their cocktails were delicious. I had mocktail, the Orange Mojito, and it was good. I ordered 2. A variety of starters were ordered to share, such as the meatballs, 24-month prosciutto, eggplants, and bread basket. My favorites were the eggplant and breadbasket. I am not an eggplant lover and it was done right. The star of the entree was definitely the rib eye. The pork chop was also really good too. Both were done medium-rare and seasoned nicely. Other dishes such as the pasta were great too. Unfortunately, I forgot the name so please refer to the pictures. The surprisingly good dish that I learned from this place is the Brodo. OMG... I love soup so I'm bias BUT the Parmigianino Reggiano Dumplings are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Can't forget the dessert.. the tiramisu and olive oil cake were also spectacular.

Downtown LA has many hidden gem restaurants. Especially in China Town and Art District areas, many new and great restaurants have sprung up with amazing foods. Rossoblu is one of those restaurants hidden near the Art district and flower districts. My daughter wanted to celebrate Father's Day with us early as she is traveling to New York tomorrow for the week. Since I love Italian food, she chose this restaurant based on Yelp recommendation. Although this was our first time here, we felt like we knew their foods. Most of the food on the menus were familiar to us. We ordered a few dishes to share to have a family style dinner so we all can sample the food. We just loved all the food we ordered. The seafood fritto Misto was excellent. Love the idea of mixing olive, lemons and calamari to create an interesting appetizer rather than just offering a boring fried calamari like all other restaurants. We also liked their tortellini pasta with meat sauce. Rossoblu is known for this dish. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the meat sauce was delicious. If you like breads, Rossoblu has the most delicious house bread. The breads were made in open fire rendering the breads tasting fantastic. This is a must order item. Hanger steak is another of our favorite dishes. Besides toasting the breads, the open fire oven is extensively use to grill steaks. Our hanger steak was grilled to medium and it was delectable. Farro cheesecake was our choice of dessert to finish our evening of early Father's Day celebration. The restaurant provides valet parking but we parked our car on the street next to the restaurant.

My son and I came here for dinner. We ordered a few items on the menu based on recommendations of our waitress. It’s all came out quickly and good. Mushroom Pizza was excellent! Pair it with a nice Chianti! I’ve been here when it had a soft opening. It’s gotten better.

We had a corporate dinner event at Rossoblu. The reservation for the group and selecting the pre-fixed menu was efficient to coordinate. The outdoor patio seating area is very nicely set up. The waiters were extremely attentive and checked in often for water refills or drinks. They brought out the individual courses. The house bread and dips were a great start to the tasting menu. Unique twists on traditional Italian recipes - eggplant, lasagna, risotto, gelato with balsamic....all of which were very well liked. Overall, highly recommend the unique experience and wonderful service.

Four of us went here on a busy Saturday night. In spite of the hustle and bustle, and having to compete with a very loud and demanding party next to us, the food and service were very good. Our server was attentive without being in our faces. He did forget that we asked for parmesan cheese but, hey, no one is perfect! 😊 We started with the bread plate and the Caesar salad. The bread itself was crunchy, chewy and flavorful. The three spreads were really good and not your typical flavors but boy did they go well with the bread. The Caesar salad was unique in its use of radicchio and although I am not a big fan of radicchio, it was a memorable salad. The entrees were nonpareil. I haven't had pasta and chicken this good in quite a while. The chicken was almost as good as our gold standard from the now closed Ca'Brea restaurant. And that's saying a lot! We shared the tagliatelle and the tortelloni and both were so delicious. 🤯 We finished with two sorbets: pear and lemon. Both were the perfect, sweet palette cleanse.

A terrific excuse to head downtown for a meal! I did not know what to expect when I read that the restaurant is located in Old Market South, adjacent to Santee Alley. What a treat to find a cluster of old buildings that are being refurbished into what will soon be a lovely indoor/outdoor social experience. The decor is hip and casual—made me feel like I was back home in NYC’s Meatpacking District. I had read in advance that the charcuterie plate was a must. It certainly was, right down to those yummy, puffy crackers. The porcini pasta dish was flavorful yet light, and I ate every bite of the trout entree. Oh, and the semifreddo! What really compelled me to write a review, however, is to commend the friendly, attentive serving staff. Our server, Susanna, was delightful and happy to chat with my friend and me when we asked her about the history of the restaurant. Adam, one of the bartenders, was super cool and also a delight. The management also granted a funny special request I made on my online reservation which gave everyone a good laugh when we arrived. In short, the staff is wonderful! Cannot wait to make another trek from the Westside to Rossoblu for another delicious meal! Thank you!

From the atmosphere, to the staff that provides the most attentive service in town, to the absolutely fantastic menu, this dining experience is top notch. I’ve been twice now and the food is simply second to none. This restaurant is an oasis in the downtown area, and worth every mile you drive to get here. Run, don’t walk to Rossoblu! You will not be disappointed!

I cannot rave enough about our experience at Rossoblu. The food was both authentic and flavorful. The wine was exceptional and the cocktails were the best I've ever had. On top of all that, the atmosphere is fun and lively. This place was well worth the drive from Orange County. We cannot wait to go back. FIVE STARS!!!

Such a nice airy, modern, trendy place. Great ambiance. It's like a taste of Italy. I had orata fish, seasonal salad, oysters, risotto, fresh veggies, tortellini pasta. Everything is so delicious. My favorite is the risotto and oysters. I love that Chef Steve stops by and make sure if everything is good. Great service, well dressed team members and great food! I highly recommend this place. Gelato Torta dessert is like the happy ending.... so superb!

From start to finish, this was a fantastic dining experience. The host, Joshua, was warm, friendly, and so accommodating. The drinks were terrific with beautiful garnishes, the food was amazing with very generous portions, the service and servers were a 10+, never leaving an empty plate or glass on the table, loved the decor, and the chef was over the top, coming to each table to deliver the main courses. We loved Rossoblu and can't wait to go back!

The warmth and ambiance just glow off of this gem in the heart of the fashion district. The cocktails and food were outstanding. Our handsome and well-versed server, Jeff, pointed us towards some amazing finds. Nothing prepared me for the deliciousness of the Swiss Chard Tartlet as an app. He also suggested the marinated big eye tuna (served with beans!!??) that was out of this world - the Valbruna's eggplant was excellent as well. I had the strozzapreti, which may be the best seafood pasta I've ever tasted.

Most delightful dinner! I would highly recommend this place, which is also the reason why we came, it was highly recommended by a chef friend, as well. Will definitely be back for more.

Beautiful industrial decor, but loud, hectic vibe. Patio might be more relaxed. Food was good but not special. Very good cocktails and wine list. Very good service.

Love this place. Third time here and the food, ambiance and service are all top notch.

The place has great ambience. Staff is friendly. We went for the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, they were fabulous. I had scrambled Eggs that were just a tad over seasoned for my liking. Potatoes were ok, crispy & chunky. Sausage was tasty. Definitely want to go back for the Pancakes again and to try other items on the menu.
