I LOVE Mercado La Paloma and Chichén Itzá.
I have been coming here for at least 6 years. This is a great location and rooted non profit and food court/ market place. This is close to USC / DTLA and a few LA museums.
The food is always delicious and I always enjoy my meals here.
Yucatan inspired Mexican food. My experience was outstanding. Parking may be challenging but for us we parked in the DMV parking lot since it was Sunday so zero cost which was awesome since we were going to an event at the nearby LA Coliseum anyway. We had and shared for two people:

It took me a long time to finally find a reason to be in the area, so I stopped in. Really good. Fish tacos were so fresh tasting. The interesting batter is crisp yet light and has zero taste of even that days oil. It was the best fish taco I have had anywhere.
I used to live in Merida and I can attest the food here is 100% authentic. Every single item in the menu is so delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I've had the Cochinita Pibil. In my opinion, it's their best plate. It's scrumptious between two soft torta buns, too. I tried the Bistec Plate. Omg! The meat is so flavorful and tender. The tacos de pescado and chocharon both equally delicious. Both are crispy, crunchy and topped with avocado
This is the greatest restaurant of all time. I absolutely love this place, there is nothing on the menu that isn't short of fantastic. The staff are wonderful and amazing, this is a iconic LA establishment. Buy the cookbook while you are here and make sure to get their habanero sauce too!!!!! Best E

Love the Torta de pollo asado with their Habanero Hot Sauce. Perfect spice and taste. A Horchata by the side takes the meal to next level. Plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor. Parking available in the complex and on the road. Usually pretty crowded during the lunch time.
Absolutely amazing!! Best Mexican food I've ever had hands down. Service was quick and a comforatable mix of food court style seating and table service. I can not honestly express how delicious everything was. We ate until we were so full it hurt. Absolutely recommend for everyone to come give this
Chichen Itza and Holbox at the Mercado la paloma are the best yucatan foods and Halbox was awarded bib-gourmand by Michelin rating, on the way to one star.
