First time at Jon & Vinny’s and I really enjoyed my food. Service was a bit off - felt as if the server was upset that we walked in at 9:45 for our 9:45 reservation. I understand that’s 15 minutes before you close but it’s a dinner time given by the restaurant not the customer. Besides that everything was great from the food and the music. Went with the “Brooklyn Dodger” pizza, the Fuji apple salad, and the spicy fusilli pasta and needed it all with the strawberry bread pudding & and Shirley temple to drink.
Extraordinary!
First of all, Andrew was just great. Took the experience to a whole different level, from the moment we sat down to the very last bite, super friendly and caring and made sure everything was perfect. And the food, what can I say?
I just love this italian-american mixture here,
We got the mozzarella sticks and bruschetta with ricotta and orange blossom honey, they were both outstanding.
For mains we took a regular margarita, a vodka fusilli, and the limone spaghetti. Everything was outstanding, but let me just tell you that the limone spaghetti will be like nothing you’ve ever tasted before. So good. For dessert Andrew gave us some cookies which definitely hit the spot, and just summarized this dinner as officially one of the best I’ve had in the U.S.
Fantastic food with very nice staff and a vibrant atmosphere (albeit a bit loud at times). Definitely a great place to take a date or small group of friends.
This is a phenomenal breakfast place! The pancakes were some of the best I've had! The Nutella toast and pizza was amazing also! I highly recommend it 👌 👍
Our party of 5 went to try Jon & Vinny’s hand tossed crust oven fire pizzas (picture of pizzas below👇). The pizzas lived up to the hype! In addition to the pizzas we ordered a white peach buratta sun golden tomatoes arugula mint salad, wood grill & red wine marinated niman ranch skirt steak, and warm strawberry bread pudding , soft whip, and was surprised with affogato and peach hand pie (Prosecco, peach, lemon, & orange).
Our server must have had a hunch we were foodies because not only did we LOVE the pizzas but made all of us a believer in the WHITE PEACH BURATTA GOLDEN TOMATOES, ARUGULA and MINT SALAD and their WARM STRAWBERRY BREAD PUDDING and AFFOGATO 🍦! We will definitely be back for the pizzas, salad, and desserts!!!!!
*PLEASE NOTE a service of 18% is charged with an explanation written at the bottom portion of your bill and then the TIP which is additional. For those that do not live in the area or come from out of state you do have to pay for lot or street parking. Make your reservations on line, be cognizant if travel time, and park in a lot:). 🌟
Great spot.
Delicious meatballs (must order!), crispy pizza, vodka Fusilli, fresh salads.
Very rushed service, food out super quick and not felt kinda churned out by the staff. Not really one for a relaxing date so bear that in mind.
Sit at the counter and you've got the hustle and bustle of the kitchen in front of you.
Food was good, service was good, but something I didn’t expect at all was the ambiance. I took my parents here after a long day of wedding things, and it was unpleasantly loud. I love a good bop, but it was difficult to talk loud enough to hear, and we ended up eating dinner basically in silence with loud music blaring. It was also quite dark.
If you want a club vibe while you’re eating pasta, this place is for you, otherwise a pass. This is the first time the ambiance really took away from the experience for me.
Spicy fusilli and their garlic bread were to die for. Pepperoni pizza was pretty good and meatballs were just OK. Huge wine selection ranging from $55-$500 by the bottle (there’s a cozy wine store on the premises). Music was way too loud for a 6pm dinner and my date and I felt we were rushed out of the restaurant. It felt as though the servers only cared about turning over tables quickly which is a shame. Dinner for 2 almost certainly puts you at the chef’s table so also be prepared for a lack of intimacy.
Great tasting pizza, but you will need to eat your own pizza to get full. We got the Sarah & shiri's super shroom and the white bronco. The shroom pizza was good but nothing that really stands out. The white bronco was extremely tasty and savory. However if we didn't go back and forth between the two pizzas the white bronco would have been far too salty. The place is only open for to go orders, that are placed online. Not a place to get fresh Italian food since everything is through door dash. Btw it was $15 cheaper to go pick up the food even with door dash saying they were giving me free delivery.
First trip to LA and this place was a must on my list. I had high expectations because of all the great reviews and Jon & Vinny’s did not disappoint. We walked in and were sat right away at the counter which was different but nice. The staff was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations. We started off with the ricotta, orange blossom honey bruschetta! It was light and savory. We ordered their famous gem salad, spicy fusilli pasta and corn agnolotti (not pictured) and everything was AMAZING and very flavorful. The corn agnolotti had a little sweet after taste so I recommend leaving a few for the end. Highly recommend!
