We came to this restaurant on a late Friday night. I absolutely love this place. The costumer service is beyond amazing. The employees are very nice and they pay attention to everything. They got some french speaking folks which I love. We ordered the 7 course meal for two. The quality of the food is outstanding. What made this place stand out for me was the detail they put on each dish that came out. Besides it tasting delicious with lots of flavor it was the presentation that got me. It is truly creative work. Great selection of wines. Restaurant is in a very nice location. There is a Valet. I hope to come back soon.

The menu rotates frequently so mileage may vary, but the food was to die for. The cocktails are a bit pricey but you get your money's worth. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and the manager charming. Allow yourself some desert wine!

I went last May so this is a really delayed review, but it was so good, I'm still thinking about it. I made a reservation for a medium sized group and they seated us very promptly when our reservation time came along. We got there a little early and they were very nice about having us hang out at the bar enjoying drinks and conversation. The food, service and drinks were excellent. At this price point, they better be... But I've been to places at similar price points that didn't hit all notes so I always congratulate a restaurant when they do. We went for the 6-course tasting menu because 10 seemed like too many, 3 seemed like we wouldn't get enough variety. Highlights for me even a year later were the amuse bouche - there was a particular one made with pumpkin puree with yogurt and orange blossom mist that was just amazing. The orange blossom mist in particular was a stroke of genius - I loved that the aroma wafted up, and it was so unlike the usual smoke that most restaurants or cocktail bars use so it was very refreshing. Another highlight were the really perfectly executed seafood options - especially the fish and Santa Barbara spotted prawn. It was sweet, it was delicate, it was delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, and usually fish is a little boring but it paired excellently with the sauce.

I actually didn't mind this diner, the food is outstanding, as well as the washrooms were not bad for public. It was a little cool indoors, so that was not perfect. The waitress is great as well. I will certainly consider returning once again if I ever land the chance. Me and also my pal bought the toast and also we were not dissatisfied. My one pointer is to maintain the chilly exterior. Thank you!

We had dinner a year ago at Patina after a wonderful concert with the LA Phil at Walt Disney Hall. This dinner was amazing. My wife and I had the five course tasting menu and each selected the complementary selection for each course. Between us we had each item offered. This was suggested by our server (please forgive me for forgetting his name, he was great). The food was amazing. Combinations of taste that I would not have imagined. Each course was an adventure in flavor. Our server offered (and I accepted) to pair wines with the course. The wines fit perfectly! It wasn't inexpensive, but it was a great value. We will be back!

Fantastic experience! Came here with my girl friend for my birthday and it was spectacular! When u go in, u see a full bar with a lot of varieties. Get ready before going in to eat one of the best tastes in ur life. I don't remember all the dishes name but my favorite one was the fish. Keep in mind that I don't eat seafood but it was made to such a perfection that I couldn't resist the temptation to give it a try. Service was without question one of the most attentive ones I had in my life. Chef Lee was nice enough to come out and greet us at the end of the night. I had tried his cuisine in other occasions when he was with other restaurants and he never disappoints! I would give him 6 stars if possible. Give them a try, u won't regret it!

This restaurant is one of my favorites in the area. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable approximately the meals. The interior decor is captivating and inviting, and the food here is exceptional. The service and ambiance combined with their delicious menu makes an enjoyable experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is probably the most customer service oriented restaurant I've ever been. When my mom and I walked in the restaurant we quickly greeted by the host, we got seated upon confirming the reservation. Diane was our waitress and she was an absolute delight. Her smile and cheerfulness quickly won us over and we knew this was going to be an incredible dinner. For unknown reason the restaurant found out we were celebrating my mom's birthday and we were moved to a booth immediately even though we were ok at the table. Diane took the time to explain and describe the menu and each dish. Her knowledge in the tea and the non-alcoholic offering made our drink selection easy. Kevin, the General Manager stopped by to introduce himself and checked in on us through our the night ensuring my mom gets the best birthday experience. The executive chef also stopped by with a hand written/signed birthday card with a special dessert for the birthday girl to ensure she is the center of the attn for the night. At the end of the night, my mom whispered in Kevin's ear that the service is way better than Spago and Kevin jokingly said we can say it out loud. The customer service is extremely detailed and to the personal level that I think it's better than Wolfgang Puck and even Nobu. The food was fabulous, each dish was plated beautifully and flavorful. We did have a slight comment on one of the Venison, one of the beef was overly cooked on one side and a bit burned. Overall, the food was still impressive and unique. We will definitely add this to our recommendable list and return for more memories. Thank you Patina team.
