I had the Chef's Favorite burger which was so tasty! Great flavors.
Also shared the parmesan truffle fries with house made ketchup & pepper mayo. Very good too.
The burgers are divine. They serve a ranch sauce that was created by a god of some kind. Their sauces are not classic hits, if that's what you're looking for... They have reinvented some food and it seems to work for the most part. I don't like their sweet potato fries. I'm a fan of sweet potatoes, so that was a bummer

Came on a Saturday night with some friends. The staff was friendly, the cocktails were good and it was not overly crowded or busy. This place was not our first choice, but it turned out to be a nice back up. We did order food and it was very good, but they did mess up on one of our orders, my friend asked for cold slaw and a side of sweet potato fries to go with her burger, but they only brought out the sweet potato fries as her only side. I tried to tell her to have it corrected but she is shy and didn't want to say anything. Overall it was a very nice time here a good place to start out the night.
Upscale good bar. Was there early and it wasn't too loud. Every item is meat based and the fries cooked in beef tallow. Why they have a vegan burger on the menu is weird when even that comes with cheese and mayo. However, good drinks and atmosphere.
I ordered the Plan Check Burger for lunch and was very pleased.
Bun: tasty and soft. It handles the juicy patty well
Meat: The petty (medium) is insanely juice and seasoned just right.
Cheese: Gooey and not too sharp.
Onions: Sweet. The perfect compliment to the patty and cheese
The sweet potato fries are pretty standard. There's nothing really distinct to share. I suppose if waffle cut fries are your thing, you'll be happy.
I've been on the hunt for LA's best burger, and a couple of separate groups of people recommended Plan Check. Definitely had some great food there, and the burger was probably the best I've had.
When I went in, I wanted to see one of the NHL playoff games, and the staff were happy to find the channel and switch some of the screens over.
Kenny was our waiter, and he took great care of us. Highly recommend this place for the burgers, beer, and staff!

Came here mid week and was figuring it was just another burger place that wouldn't really impress me, but i was wrong! We started with the house made pickles--they were really good, then for dinner I had the chicken burger-WOW. this was delicious! it was so juicy and flavorful, i literally could've had another one. I can't wait to come back and have it again--good thing it's only a couple blocks from my apartment.
Best burger place in the US, quick and friendly service
Check your plans before coming here! Food is great, drinks are small but kinda strong. The staff is phenomenal!! Oh, and the deserts are stupid bomb!!! shout out to "Tasty" youtube channel for featuring this spot. May just be the best -tasting- burger in LA the PCB aka Plan Check Burger. If not the best definitely one of the best.
