Deafening noise inside which, perhaps, led us to not enjoy the experience. Last time, 9-10-23, we sat on the patio. Totally different, which is why I upgraded our review. Dining tomorrow, again. 😀.

One of our favorite places to go for a nice local dinner.
This place is spectacular! We make it a point to come here fairly often. Service is great, food is amazing, and the location is very nice. Definitely come have a meal here and you will enjoy yourself! I always forget to take pictures of the nice setup and great dishes. Be I did take a picture of our wine.

Very nice Italian close to beach. We tried branzino and short rib tortellini, and both were amazing. Also, do not leave without trying their tiramisu ;)

We were in California from Canada for our 25th wedding anniversary and we are so fortunate we picked such a great restaurant. Valeri made our experience fantastic this young man was awesome together with the rest of the great staff that understand great customer service. The food was excellent and great value in the portions. If we lived here this for sure would be our go to place for excellent Italian food. See you when we come back in the future!!!

Penguini is a surprisingly tasty, cozy, and perfectly placed spot in Playa Del Rey. Delicious pastas with a few good vegetarian options.
I felt the dessert was lacking in flavor after such a flavorful meal, so maybe skip the sweets here.

Chef prepared special ravioli in pink sauce for us without any meat sauce and it was delicious 🤤
Went with my mom and we love Italian but vegetarian, so ended up getting the cheese ravioli along with pizza! Delicious! Will go back again when traveling that way!

Eat indoors or on the outdoor patio. Very close to the beach.
I don't know what it's called, but the serve a hollowed of frozen lemon filled with lemon gelato/ sorbet as dessert,omg!! Best dessert ever.
All the dishes we ordered were great. I had fettuccine with meat sauce.
2 in group were raving about the fish,said it was the best ever.

We stopped there on a whim before our flight out of LAX. So glad we did. Food is outstanding. Would rank it up there with any Italian food, or any restaurant, we have ever had. Great staff. Nice environment. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely put it on list any time we are in the area.
