This is a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant. We went a couple of times before in the past few years. But recently we were craving some authentic homemade pasta so we indulged our selves here for dinner on the 2nd of February. Whatever we ordered was just simple delicious. The lady who served our table is an amazing person. The wine was so good. The appetizers were the meatballs and the scallops. Tagliatelle pasta, orecchiette pasta, lasagna. We also ordered pizza and lambs chops which were amazing.

I was looking for an Italian restaurant close to my new job and I came across this one it was a beautiful real sunny day was looking to sit out doors and be taken back, I was very surprised I ended up coming back (lots of times) LOL great spot for lunch the food is served so fast food is fantastic fresh I legit felt I was in Italy for an hour. The menu has great authentic food full pasta dishes to pizzas great wine list and bar a bit pricey for lunch but worth it.

An elegant and perhaps one of the best Italian restaurants here in LA. No hype. Tried both Margherita and Fico - the pizzas were fresh and very delightful. It was dine L.A. Summer week. I would strongly recommend the beef carpaccio - the thin slices of raw meat carried the most original taste of beef. The chicken liver maccherocini was an adventure for us but we really liked its rich flavor. [Second visit update] Enjoyed the roasted octopus (guess a must-have) and the tagliatelle was very nice.

Every dish here from the appetizer to the pasta and pizza were outstanding and authentic. Prices were reasonable and the ambiance and service were good as well. Would recommend this place without reservation and would love to go back.

Pizza is very unique. Loved the flavors. And their beer is delicious as well. Also don't forget about that appetizer of salami and cheese.

This place will haunt my tastebuds and stomach’s dreams in the worst way possible; because the food was that damned good. I went with a group of three others during il Fico’s happy hour and we were seated outside under a nice shaded patio. The server was prompt with water and menus. I would’ve probably spent the ~$15 on a normal sized Margherita pizza without blinking, but their happy hour menu features a smaller $5 version of it which I happily ordered. It was a respectable size and absolutely delicious. The other happy hour meals we ordered were equally so, the herb ravioli & truffle fries came and went quickly. Not only that but the drinks were great. $8 wine and cheaper beers. The dessert is what made me realize I would dream about this place for years to come. The tiramisu (Semifreddo di Tiramisu’ con Granella di Mandorle e Cacao) and bread pudding (perhaps the Tortino di Cioccolato con Gelato alla Vaniglia? A mark of how good it was; I forgot the name of it!) I was already full from an entire Margherita (+2 slices of a friend’s), a order of truffle fries, and several herb ravioli; so I wasn’t expecting to be enticed into eating much dessert. But wow...I was knocked on my ass. The tiramisu! Dear god, if I was a poet I would pen an epic describing the tiramisu to rival the Mahābhārata itself. The bread pudding of which I am unsure of its name, would give me an additional 50,000 verses! The sauce was heavenly! The crust perfectly fired! The fries tasted like they were fried in ambrosia! I exclaimed to my friends several times that I genuinely felt like I could die after eating such a meal. I know there will be a night, somewhere down the line, where I will suddenly sit up in my bed with wide eyes and a puddle of drool on my pillow. My stomach will protest loudly, and I will close my eyes and try to return to the dream in which I am likely feasting at Pizzeria il Fico; but the dream won’t heed my call, at least not again that night. When I open my eyes again for the second time that night in the distant future, I’ll probably sit in my bed and fight the urge to book a flight out to Los Angeles, because the food is just that damn good. I would sell my first-born to eat at this place on a regular basis.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. The chef is from Italy. The *whole menu* is amazing. I love all their sauces. The portions are generous. They use sustainably sourced, high quality, fresh ingredients - I can truly taste the difference from other places - organic veggies, wild caught fish, polenta imported from Italy so it's non-gmo. The service is exceptionally kind & welcoming. The wine list is wonderful. The decor & ambiance are lovely. I have come here to celebrate special occasions, and have been ordering from them regularly since covid began.

We come to LA every year for thanksgiving & honestly we mostly come for this pizza. (They aren't open thanksgiving but we go the day after) It's one of the best we've had. It's fresh & hot & has such a great taste. The margarita pizza is so flavorful. We talk about this place all year until we come back again. It's so cute & small & they have heaters when you sit to eat there, which is perfect on cold nights. We always take one to go so we have something to eat in the hotel room when we get hungry again lol. I already can't wait to come back again next year.
