Review Eataly Los Angeles - Los Angeles

Ehsan Shirkhani
This place is truly a piece of Italy in terms of Italian food and products. You’d find all kinds of pasta, olive, olive oil, balsamic, jam, bread and pasta. They have small stores in the market where you can buy freshly baked bread, meat, salami, pizza and pasta. The taste of food is amazing. You wanna eat at Century City go here instead of the food court.

Took the wifey out for her birthday. Always wanted to see what this Eataly was all about and I figured it would also be a nice follow up to our recent trip to Rome and Florence, Italy. I was impressed by the amount of things you’ll find in Eataly. The market, bakeries, sandwich place, wine area and restaurants. In the end, my wife and I wish we had just gone to the sandwich area, which seemed like a more relaxing vibe. We ended up going to the restaurant, La Pizza, La Pasta I think its called. This is why I give my review as sort of a so, so experience if you will. The seating in there was so tight, its hard to really enjoy and they stuck us in between two larger groups who were quite loud. I had the good fortune I guess of sitting next to a woman who liked to fling and shake her long hair. This probably added extra seasoning to an already not so good margarita pizza 😂 The table they gave us was so small we could barely fit the food we ordered which is why I chose to order only three items. I will give them high marks in how fast our food came but mostly because we were anxious to eat and go. It took longer to receive my change than it took to receive the food. Besides the pizza we got the meatballs, which was very good and the spinach ravioli (not so good) Each item averaged $20 and the final bill came out to be $79. Honestly, not worth it at all but we do plan to give Eataly another try. Kind of disappointing that they don’t validate. The waitress told me “oh! Just go to Bloomingdales, they’ll validate for you no problem!” I go there and the lady says “you have a Bloomingdales receipt?” I laughed. Tack on an additional $8 for an hour and a half night in Century City. 😔

Visited the restaurant in the back and was able to get a table in the balcony area on the shady side. Food was tasty and prepped nicely and the service was pleasant. It seemed the price has gone up quiet a bit, since a yr or two ago. All in all, it's fun to be here and easily kill an hour or two. They do not validate parking, ended up staying for 2hrs and had to pay $7.

I've been to the Eataly in Vegas twice now so I'm glad there's one closer to home in Socal! It's pretty different as well. There's two casual dining places, three restaurants and a huuuuge market area, which is the definite highlight. Oils, vinegars, sweets, sauces, produce, pastas, freshly made cheeses and breads were all available. From the things that I tried and bought I would highly recommend the panna cotta, thinly sliced meats and sandwiches! I will definitely be coming back for a day trip.

Let me start out with the fact that I absolutely love eataly! Went there for the first time and it was magical. The food delicious. The staff friendly. The vibe perfect. And we even had a celebrity spotting. Such a cool vibe in LA! Absolutely recommend doing the 2 for $26 (while it lasts) because it’s just so good. We ordered a variety of pastas and appetizers. I fell in love with the ravioli. So unbelievably delicious. My only issue (which May just be a my own problem) I ordered an Arnold Palmer and our super friendly server explained they only had sparkling lemonade and I said that was fine (which it was). My issue comes from the price. $15 for arnold Palmer. Absolutely insane! Would definitely go back but would absolutely not order myself an Arnold palmy.

Large selection of imported foods from Italy and Europe. Bring plenty of patience. Parking on the weekend can be a challenge.

Amazing Italian food, if you are looking for authentic food then you must go to Eataly. Awesome service, atmosphere and of course the food! You won’t be disappointed for sure.

Always a great meal at Eataly. It’s going to be on the pricey side, but I don’t know a better place to get my regional favorites: pasta alla nonna, pasta pomodoro, and margherita pizza. Today’s choice was the focaccia rossa and the spinach and ricotta ravioli. Molto molto bene!

Expensive, but had a special 2 course menu for cheaper than normal. Delicious ricotta toast with honey and a cheese wheel pasta. The grocery store was fun too.

One of a good options when you are at the Century city mall! It is an Italian market that sells a bunch of different stuff. They also have cafe and restaurants inside, worth a visit!

The place lived up to the hype. Food was amazing, we had the pizza - as good or even better than the ones we had in Italy; ravioli was a little bit salty and the beet salad with pistachios were the best. Great service. We loved the meat section with the aged beef on display; the wine selection from Italy was impressive. We will definitely bring out of town guests for the experience. What a nice birthday treat from my son. Gelato and cannolis were the last stop.

Awesome place to eat and shop. Freshly made bread, pastas, mozzarella, pastries, meat deli, seafood, with great wine selection. Groceries made in Italy are A bit pricey but definitely a great place for the experience.

This is an upscale Italian market that has everything imaginable. They have wines, cheese, a fish market, meat market, several eateries, and sit down restaurants. This place is very busy but worth it to visit. The pizza I ate was amazing. The best I've ever eaten. I can't wait to go back.

Terra was my lash hurrah before the start of a carbless diet - and good grief - I wish i could eat that entire meal all over again! It was just. so. good! We ordered a selection of speared meats. In truth - i found them to be just a little over - salty. But you can blunt that with the pieces of bread it comes with. Based on our server's recommendations, we also had Mozarella, and the Crudo di Tonno. I want to tell you that this sashimi was one of the best, freshest pieces of tuna i've had! Excellent stuff. Also - i had the Vesuvio pasta; which i also enjoyed enjoyed very much. And to top it all off, we finished our meal with the homemade creamy silken gelato topped with olive oil! Fantastic!!! The staff were all very attentive and informative. So bottom line - go as soon as you can!

I loved this place! I can stay all day browsing and eating delicatessen, gourmet italian goodies, seafood, pasta, pizza, wine, pastries, cheese, bread, and so much more! It is conveniently located in the century city mall. I can be here all day! I will definitely be back soon to try some more food and get some more wines!

One of my favorite stops now and will be definitely coming back ! There is so much to try and see and purchase. Absolutely loved the pasta and pizza place. Need to try the seafood station and cheese stations next ! So many dessert options to indulge in. Wonderful views and a variety of places to sit and enjoy all of the wonderful food and treats this place has to offer.

Upscale casual best describes this fab place. Forgot for a time I was in the middle of L A! Beautiful displays of goods from all corners of Italy. Hard to find this selection and atmosphere other than going there yourself. The service was excellent staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Finally made it here yesterday while taking in a movie . This place is amazing . First of all they have literally EVERYTHING you could possible need in one enormous place and secondly I found the service from everyone to be excellent . I bought from several places and each one was as good as the last . Excellent food too and the coffee was delicious . A little pricey but you would expect that for the quality of what you get . What an amazing place and the mall itself is outstanding .

An amazing place with incredible food(s). It does tend to become crowded so not for the couple looking for a quiet romantic lunch/dinner. Full deli, butcher, seafood, wine section, and market. It is LOUD in here but there's no other place I'd rather be than enjoying my wine and food.

The first time we went there was Father's Day. My children celebrated their dad with lunch at Terra. Food offerings were great. Their charcuterie and other shareable went well with main dishes of grilled rib eye and seared tuna. Their cocktails were refreshing! Great Father's Day celebration. Yesterday, I took my friend who was visiting from Los Altos to Eataly to shop and have lunch. We ended at La Pizza and La Pasta. We shared an appetizer- Prosciutto San Daniele. My friend had the Chitarra - squid ink pasta with shrimp and I had the Pansotti -filled with ricotta and spinach with butter walnut pesto. Both were delicious! The lunch staff were all courteous and friendly. Service was great! We plan to return and bring more of our friends.

The place is lovely by we stopped for lunch at Piazza (I believe that is the name) which is inside of the Eataly and ordered huge charcuterie, cheese and veggies plates to share ($40) and the only good thing there was bread. Vegetables were kind of pickled but super bland, cheese very subpar and almost tasteless. Not coming back.

My son and I have been wanting to come here. We finally made the trek from San Gabriel Valley yesterday. We really loved the atmosphere and the experience. We walked the entire third floor in and out of every aisle looking at all the products. We ended up eating in La Posta a lot pizza on the outside terrace. We ordered a pizza, and was delightfully surprised and excited by the taste and the parent we really loved the atmosphere and the experience. We walked the entire third floor in and out of every aisle looking at all the products. We ended up eating in La Posta lot pizza on the outside terrace. We shared a sausage, mushroom pizza and couldn’t get over how amazing it tasted. I am a new jersey girl, and a certified pizza snob. So I judge or pizzas by what I grew up with. This pizza was right up there, if not better, then what I grew up with. Bravo !! Afterwards we went down to the second floor and my son tried a pistachio cannoli and I tried a coffee gelato. They were equally amazing. We hope to go back again. By the way, our waitress, Marisa, was super friendly super nice and made our experience more enjoyable.

Omg, came here to eat for my birthday (at Il Pesce). Was such a delicious experience that I came by the next day to eat again (at the pasta and pizza place).
